Your thought processes are a lot like mine, but I probably would have put the choco donuts back and bought 2 of the brownie mixes to make one large pan. You did say that you were only trying to get through two days so to me that would have been plenty of sweets for that time frame. As you were deciding against the $7 pizzas I was already thinking about the possibility of bagel pizzas or homemade versions that you can do a lot cheaper per slice. Great video! I'm a new subscriber but will be checking in again. Love finding bargains at the store but don't shop at Aldi much because ours is pretty small but always looking for recommendations that might change my mind. They usually just don't have a good selection and even the produce loss leaders are gone by the next day so it doesn't really pay to show up unless I have a small list of everyday things. Consider swapping 2 pizza sauce for 1 large jar of marinara. Cheaper and I prefer the flavor. Might be fun to have a treat they can help make. What about cut up apples dipped in Carmel or fruit dip? Enjoy your summer lunches.☀️🕶🌞

I have made breakfast pizzas on the pizza dough-- I use either small cubes of velveeta type cheese or cheddar cheese sauce for the "sauce" then andd scrambled eggs an cooked sausage or bacon top with some mozzerella or other shredded cheese and bake :)

Brownies or cake go further than doughnuts in our house. ❤ Great choices, we did an indoor camp out in the living room and made BBQ hotdogs and s'mores in the oven they were great❤❤

You can use the cake mix to make cookies. Have the older kids help you make them.

Yes my Mother was diabetic so I got sugar free cake mix. Depending on size of cookies it can make up about 40 - 50 cookies. Recipe is on Pinterest.

Their honey wheat pretzels in the bucket are 5.99 but my kids only eat maybe 5 sticks at a meal or snack so thay is a good option for us:)

Does anyone else have jids whom snack for what seems all of the time during the day? My child snacks like mad and then still says "I'm hungry." I have wxplained it is because those are empty callories. 🤦 Then does it again. I want the sbacks to last a month. This month I had to stock up on cat food, cat litter, dog food, toilet paper, shampoo and get food So everything has to last and stretch. Next month we can get a few more extra snacks, but why is it that boys eat so much?
