We all have our favorite go-to ice cream, but nothing brings together two classic desserts better than the ice cream sandwich. Sure, we like crumbling cookies on our bowl of ice cream, but a good ice cream sandwich gives you the perfect ice cream to cookie ratio.
Let’s face it - an ice cream sandwich is better than a cookie, and even though it’s not always acceptable or appealing to dunk it in milk, you can still sprinkle it and decorate it with a wide array of treats.

So many missing items. Case in Point, Kay's Ice Cream Sandwiches (Food City and K-VA-T food stores in Kentucky, Virginia and Tennessee) Tastes exactly like the ice cream sandwiches I used to sell when I worked for Pet Dairy in the late 1970s early 1980s.(Pet was bought out by Land O Lakes in the 1980s but the Pet Ice Cream Brand is still around.) I wouldn't buy anything from Nestle's, as they have shown a blatant disregard for workers and sometimes the Law.

Most important point was not even addressed. The ice cream sandwiches of the 60s were rectangular and WIDE. My FIL said it best: "you could lay brick with 'em!" Today's cheapies look like Slim Jim's and do not satisfy your craving...unless you eat two, which I guess is the intention.

If you look at the nestle product at 5:32 the package says "frozen dairy desert sandwich" not ice cream sandwich. If this product qualified as ice cream I'm sure Nestle would put ice cream on the label.

I don’t trust anything Mashed says about nondairy products. Obviously if you don’t like the nondairy milk base, you won’t like nondairy ice cream sandwiches.
