I love seeing inside grocery stores in other countries! I was in Berlin about four years ago and loved it going to the Ritter sport factory store, I took home so much chocolate! They have so many great flavors, and they’re kind of hard to find in the US. Also those Christmas advent calendars looked so cute!

I’m obsessed with Aldi! It’s so cheap and we can get our groceries for under $120 for the month which is amazing! Germany’s Aldis seem amazing! I hear it’s more common for them to have fresh bakeries and delis as well!

You have to try the Leibniz-cookies with choclate or the "pickup". Those are also quite tasty, if you haven't tried those.

Hello. There is Kaufland, Globus and Real. They're a bit like Target and Walmart. And there are Pocco, Teddi, Obi, Bauhaus etc. You can perhaps compare them with Hobby Lobby. Btw I love your channel.

This was interesting to watch 🤓 I’m an Aldi fan. I love shopping at Aldi here in the USA. So it was nice to see what Aldi is like in German. I thought the egg in the dry goods section is a bit weird. I would have to get use to that. Honestly I might forget to buy eggs if I live there cause I’m use to them being in the cooler section. 😊🌻

That may seem a bit strange at first glance, but technically eggs don't have to be cooled
@Hauketal
@Hauketal 3 жыл бұрын
Eggs when newly laid have a protection layer. It works at least as long as the hen usually sits on the egg. In the US this layer is washed away, so they must be cooled against bacterial spoiling.

Yup I said it earlier in the video, but they have locations in the United States and it is the only store comparable to a German grocery store so that is why I keep using American Aldi as a point of reference for my American viewers.

Here you have an umlaut to spell Grafenwöhr correctly: "ö". Umlauts aren't decorational, they're vowels in their own right. The pronunciation is more akin to the word "were" instead of "veer".
@JamieVaca
@JamieVaca 4 жыл бұрын
In the US military community they officially spell grafenwoehr as such, so if an American is searching for my videos this is the spelling they would likely try. Thank you though.
@Titamiva
@Titamiva 4 жыл бұрын
@@JamieVaca The diphtongs "oe", "ae", and "ue" are 99% correct replacements in case umlauts aren't availlable. You can still name the video with umlaut and have the Army spelling in the tag box. Anyone looking for such videos will still be able to find it.

John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
