Yes it’s amazing how far a toilet pan sticks out especially with a close coupled cistern still should save quite a bit of room still with your set up. As always great work

If you pushed it against the rendered wall and marked around the cistern - then removed that section of the render I reckon that would have gone in OK. The frame manufacturer normally sells the right soil pipe adaptors for that exact situation too. Good job though.😀

Hello, I have a horizontal pipe as well. Do you think I can still install a wall hung Grohe? Can you share link for the 90 degree bend pipe from wherr you bought it? Also, which Grohe frame is this?

Would you say these are better than the gebriet duofix

Those frames are normally set at a meter from finished floor. Don't suppose it matters I guess. Mcalpine do a nice pan connecter and flush pipe kit if wc doesn't seal correctly to waste pipe 👍

Mate that point you took as the top ov your toilet is not your top ov pan it's actually about 30mm above the flush pipe outlet.

Would you be able to tell me whether you need to pre-drill a hole for the leg bolts and what would be the size of the hole if any? Thank you
@OfficeBoyBuilder Жыл бұрын
The holes are drilled and tapped into the frame, but where you need to fix them into the floor or wall you should consider pre-drilling them. My subfloor was timber OSB so I didn't need to pre-drill, but my wall fixings were into brick, so that did require a pilot hole. The size depends on the fixing you're using, so I can't really help you there.
