Save money on the Olin’s fork kit with just heavier oil. The oil alone does wonders. And you can also stiffen the rear end up with a hose clamp and putting the bike in the air letting the spring fully decompress and tightening the clamp on the spring.

Do those axle sliders even do anything? Im pretty sure the rear ones wont touch the ground in a fall and the front ones might touch the ground but what are the protecting, the side of the tire? I heard they can actually bend end of the axle in a fall too.

So is there any way I can keep the stock controls and put a hand brake setup on the klx 110 bars?
@GromGarage
@GromGarage 4 жыл бұрын
Yea, you would have to move the control off the bars and zip tie it to the middle-ish of the handlebars (some people do that)

Have you ever messed around with changing you’re rear sprocket? If so does that help more with stunting?
@GromGarage
@GromGarage 4 жыл бұрын
I haven’t personally. From what I know... front sprocket down a tooth is more acceleration but worse top end, front sprocket up is slower acceleration but higher top end (unless bike is maxed out).... for the rear it’s backwards and every tooth you go up or down is about half the difference you would see by changing a front tooth... so basically, rear sprocket up means more acceleration but worse top end while going down a tooth creates worse acceleration and more top speed. But again, keep in mind that changing one tooth on the rear is like changing 1/2 a tooth on the front. Hopefully this helps

Stock or ebc brake pads. Nothing for “racing” or “high performance use”… the stock basic style stops well and last a long time

As for your Z and Z foot sets with the axle pegs, do they protect your bike from falls? I’m looking into getting them for my grom.
@GromGarage
@GromGarage 4 жыл бұрын
The zz customs pegs mainly protect the shifter and brake lever while the axle sliders are definitely needed... they protect a lot of stuff. I recommend have a subcage and also some bar end sliders for full protection (forgot to mention the bar sliders in this video)

Grom Garage oh damn, It’s super hard finding a good seat that’s not ¼ the price of the grom. Im changing the handlebars today to try and get a better seating position. Plus I bet the wedge on the seat helps with wheelies.
