GymPin makes a collar extender which can be nice for those with bumper plates. My only concern with this is the possible sheer force on the knee. That said, it could be unfounded since I am not a physio nor am I terribly bright.

If somebody has a power rack, they should probably buy the bulletproof isolator because you can turn that into a hip thrust machine, as well as a leg extension , leg curl, bicep curl, etc. can you can have all of those exercises for the same price as the Gronk hip thrust Machine….possibly less!

We have someone here at grr that has the bulletproof isolator set up to do leg extension and curls! I need to see if he does hip thrusts with it too. - Linds

I don't think you listed the item weight? Weight is always important. That price is too high just to get less footprint. The gmwd horizontal machine is $500, and though it is horizontal, it's also wheeled and mobile, and weighs 195.

This machine reminds me of the video of someone doing barbell weighted sissy squats, and snapping all the ligaments in their knees at once. Some gimmicks aren't worth it.

This isn't even a hip thrust, its more akin to an RDL. The force vector has changed.
