At 15 my mum hated me. She did not overtly tell me that she disliked me but i felt it and it showed with the way she treaded me. I just come form living with my Dad for 5 mounts and at the end of those mounts he told me that he did not like me, that he liked my sister more that me. At the time i felt like a bad person and my groomer made me fell safe and worthy. He called me handsome and told me that im the smartest guy ever. At 17 after another victim of his contacted me i have realized that i was groomed.

please, i need an advice. So im 15, and i do 3 times a week piano lessons, every time that i enter the room my piano teacher tells me that im the prettiest girl he's ever seen, that im really a genius at piano, and sometimes he even compliments my body. I dont know what to do, i have this feeling that something bad is gonna happen but idk why. So please can u tell me if these could be signs of grooming so that i can do something about it ?

Ms. Fisher I was asked by my future mother in law, a life long Pentacostal Church of God in Christ adherent, why I, not a COGIC member, felt that living in sin was how God wanted us to be. Just loving her daughter, we ween't living or sleeping together, was enough for this woman to accuse me of the sin of turning her daughter's head from the path of Righteousness. It took a minute for me to gather myself- I walked out of a church many years ago and never looked back- my Sunday school teacher was telling the history of the earth- he claimed from God's point of view as expressed in the Bible; he said (and the minister rebuked me for questioning it) there were two sorts of scientists in the world; one sort that dummied up plastic dinosaur bones and buried them and others who went around and dug them up to become famous and rich- both sets were the Devil's Advocates. Oh, and the world was 6,000 years old! I had a lot of problems with this- I was drug across half of West Texas and a third of New Mexico from oil workers camp to camp, and had seen the amazing things that had come up from deep in the earth- deeper than any body could dig- things many times older than 6,000 years, and definitely not planted by anyone of any generation close to mine. So I don't have much of a Churchy way about myself. I asked my mother in law to be, whom her God would hold in the most esteem- someone who had stayerd far away from all sin and deviation and maintained their innocence or someone who had lived in the world all the days of their life, encountered sin, maybe been led astray a time or two, but in the end saw the grace and worth of living a good meaningful life without participating in that sin. She took longer to answer that than I had. Over the next decade I was married to her daughter, my mother in law and I became good friends and confidants- I went to services occasionally with her and my father in law (my wife quit going shortly after we were married). Her cousin was the minister- he once said I was the most dangerous thing he had ever seen for his religion (he said faith, but ...). I divorced that wife after fifteen years, eight trying to save my marriage, but till I attended first my ex father in law's funeral and then her's, we were friends. It took me till after my thirtieth birthday to come to grips with what I believed- I found I didn't have religion, I had faith. Sorry bout , the long story, but resurrections happen every day, and I hope that some if not all your secret carriers find that internal faith.

There are no such things as dinosaurs. The bones were all fabricated and planted!! COGIC is a cult. The earth is older than 6,000 years - the Bible says it was void and without form but it existed - however, Creation was somewhere around 4,000 to 6,000 years ago. Jesus is the only way to eternal life in heaven. I pray you accept His offer.

@@junegerber4028 My late geologist engineer father disagreed with the pastor and the Sunday schools teacher then and at the end of his life. FWIW, this belief, rightly or wrongly, has no bearing on whether you treat your fellow men and women fairly and honestly- your "internal compass"- a collection of the things your parents and grand parents hand down to their children determine much of that. a good pastor or youth counselor can and often is very helpful- it is sometimes hard to see and admit your child is not heading in quite the right way- but I am absolutely against forcing any child into a faith they have no background to understand- leading them (LEADING) them to God, to Faith and letting them see the glory and the positivity it can bring to a life I full well encourage. Religion I have very little place or patience with- virtually all particularly those who "follow the Bible" miss the essential point;it was constructed and originally edited to conform to Roman Law circa 325 AD- then in the 17th century was translated again and edited by another politician- both seeking to use the text to save their empires or personal political futures. Jesus, the main and most important topic of the New Testament has many fewer than 300 words said direct form his mouth (the red pharases in your KJB)- yet those words and that God in Man are the most important aspects of the New Testament. Have you never wondered how come a dozen years of being an acclaimed preacher ( and Jesus most certainly was a great preacher- he was an acclaimed Rabbi) before his execution only yields 300 words worth recording? Your response strongly suggests you have taken your minister's word for these things, and he/she may well believe them- absolutely none of the science agrees with them ,yet all the Newton did to explain gravity and the constancy of physics only increases the wonder in creation, the order and scope of it. The God you and I believe in did not wish for you to come before him prattling homilies you rote learned as a child but to come to him in the completeness and knowledge of your faith. If I sound "preachy" I apologize; I am a retired plumber and air conditioning specialist. I speak here from a life time of wonder and gain, from a youth scarred and turned away from all the faces of God by crooked men with bent ideals willing to lie to a child who had stood on drilling rig floors and seen the petrified remains of creatures dead several million years. So, to end this, I do not lack for Faith, but I will not be bent by religion (read up on the Albigensian Crusade) to believe something my eyes and brains show me is not factual. You will not sway me nor change my path on this, nor will you hurt my feelings. You will get my Hopes and Prayers that you meet your Maker on that day with Faith, not dogma.
