Hard to listen to. I don’t understand how people can get angry at you for leaving the Catholic Church. Praying for you and God Bless you Joseph.

I’m not angry he decided to leave. I’m just sad. I know it’s hard these days and it did cross my mind to leave when I found out about McCarrick but this is where Jesus is and the Church has been through a lot in 2000 years. Granted, this may be the worst ever.

@@ruthmaryrose if you watch Joseph's videos and still cling to the belief that Papism is the true faith, you are deluded.

Jingamooka! Joseph, you look start to look more like a healthy and well-adjusted man with every video. Not to sound offensive, but you're losing the former "vibes". The Orthodox faith works wonders in one's soul. Also glad you're taking on Barron. I've been feeling very uncomfortable about that guy ever since I realized he promotes "empty hell" doctrine, which I think goes against any notion of serious pastoral care. For too long, RC bishops have been allowed to let their sheep run into the devil's knife without any pushback.

Right. And if Hell is empty, who cares if someone is a Catholic or not, who cares if anyone ever hears the Gospel?

Can a celibate homosexual be a priest?

Yes

@@kragar4 No. Is he even homosexual if he's celibate? Or do you think they were 'born that way?' What is homosexuality if not based on the sexual acting out of the behaviour? If celibate, won't the condition express itself through fantasy or in other undesirable ways, unbiblical ways?
@doriskarloff96410 ай бұрын
I think so - celibacy subjugating the wishes of the body to the will of the spirit as per Galatians 5 16-25

I think you are confusing celibate (which means unmarried) and abstinent @@doriskarloff964

No, because homosexuality has to be fought by the person experiencing it on 3 fronts; being homosexual, the outrageous promiscuity that goes with it, and hatred for the opposite sex. A whole lifetime of stuff to deal with there.
