Patience & a gentle touch. You truly have an art not only in your unbelievable grooming skills but in your calm demeanor allowing each furbaby the time & the understanding of their individual personalities & the things that make them feel the most comfortable & calm. You’re my definition of what a true highly skilled groomer should be. You truly care about each dog & not just about getting the groom done. You’re my #1 groomer. I only wish I could be in Jersey & watch your work in person. Best of the Best

The other thing I like about your channel is that the products you push in your description are reasonable and accessible. I'm all for spending what I need to to make my dog look good, but if I can buy $10 scissors instead of $90 scissors, it's what I'm gonna do. I guess it's all about the person behind the tools lol.

I've watched a lot of grooming videos and you are so sweet and kind. This was a very pleasant video to watch. I have a Yorkie mix and struggle with trimming him. Hope to learn a lot from you.

I loved your video but I would like if you told what size blade you use on your clippers when grooming the dog. That’s where I have problems because I don’t know what size to use.

You just said in your last video that it was safer to use the Clippers under the eyes rather than the scissors, but in this video you're saying the total opposite so I'm confused which one is safer, or does it depend on the actual situation?

My little Yorkie constantly pulls away, has to look back over her shoulders to see what I'm doing, and I very highly doubt she'd let me do any of that. I take full blame, and I think if I'd started earlier and she was used to it, it would be a lot easier. I don't have a way of holding her like you do, and that would probably help tremendously. What do you do when they're constantly pulling away, not holding still, etc.?

I have a 5 month old Yorkie and she needs a little trim around the eyes. She's so hyper and still in her teething stage. She doesn't like being touched on her head and near her face. What should I do about it?

What a sweet girl! Are you controlling her head movement by holding her chin? If I get anywhere near my dog’s mouth, he sniffs for treats. If I don’t have any, he not interested in cooperating 😬.
@GroomingByRudy6 жыл бұрын
The Js'..yes i am gently,and briefly holding her chin,to keep her head still.while i clip.If a dog should pull away,i let go,and reset..A big part of groom training,is the grooming table itself..Treats,can help,but training a dog to hold still,is very different than training a dog to perform task.Try to just hold her head still even just for a few seconds,while massaging her face with your fingers..use a command,such as ..Hold still,or Steady..Try it every day,she will learn.Than you are more likely to succeed,with some brushing,or trimming ..let us know..Thank You for watching.
