This young man showed to be one of the most talentet guitarist, singers and performers in the WORLD. If not the best. Looking back at those years, we now know that his career would run totally amok in the next several decades to come . Thanks for sharing. I really enjoy it over and over Again.

I love "Mean Woman Blues"! It's one of my top 3 Elvis songs. Glen can cover ANYONE. However, I will have to say that Elvis' version is the best because of the black cat verse. Glen omitted it altogether. Probably because he couldn't deliver the line quite like Elvis did. The protest song surprised me. It doesn't seem to jibe with the Glen Campbell persona I'm familiar with. Even so, I enjoyed this clip. Mike Douglas was such a nice man. I always liked him.

To see Glen back then such humility about his talent had he gone a different route he could have given Elvis a run for his money !

Pretty gutsy of Glen to perform a protest song when Mike's audience was generally older in those days. It's great to still have Glen with us, as well as Frankie Avalon. Time sure flies my friends.
