I have them on several of my guitars. The product is fantastic, doesn't interfere with your playing, and doesn't coat your neck with any weird residue. Thanks for highlighting the Jennifer Batten line. I was one of the graphic artists that contributed to that line. Mark, the guy that runs the company along with his wife are two of the coolest people on the planet.

OMG, I want them all! The website gives how-to instructions. Is there a specific cleaning method/product that works best, before application? A lot of fretboard cleaners have oils in them, so that's my concern. Also, I subbed to the channel.

Hi, love your channel. Find your videos very easy to understand. Love these fret board decals, thanks. Do you happen to know of any companies who do decent head stock decals. All the ones here in the UK are pretty poor??? Cheerio for now, take care and keep on rocking 🤘
@gonz92784 жыл бұрын
Edit* just realized you're probably talking about a full headstock decal. I've found a few good silkscreen decals on etsy and ebay before, just put a little clear coat of matching lacquer over after applying. www.ebay.com/i/324085228486?rt=nc&_trkparms=aid%3D1110001%26algo%3DSPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D225086%26meid%3De6be7696a94945e49e2f70f7f9eb812f%26pid%3D100677%26rk%3D9%26rkt%3D30%26mehot%3Dnone%26sd%3D323205642977%26itm%3D324085228486%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2386202%26algv%3DDefault

Hey Scott great video on these man! Have a question for you though, say I wanted to add a set on and seal the guitar in some nitro and really seal them in. Would it work with these or would the nitro be too harsh on the material? Especially for an all maple neck I'd like to seal it all in and get a really smooth seamless feel.
@dbrosemer63484 жыл бұрын
hey hey Scott lookin' groovy buddy! I have NEVER seen anything like this....this is bitchin' man. Thanks man. I found them last year and did a few here and there and then ordered 8 more and asked the guys there if they minded if I did a video. They said that would be great and that I could go ahead and use the images from their site for the video and there you go. Yeah, they sure do give major stage ideas huh? I'm glad you see what I see with them too. Are you going to use the "SHOW ME YOUR CREDIT SCORE" on the fingerboard? lol

Hi Scott, I,ve been a loyal follower for years. This is my first question. I just bought a G&L Blues boy tele style guitar. It has either jumbo or medium jumbo frets. When all open strings are tuned I notice that if you fret notes 2 or 3 frets down from the nut they are about 10 cents sharp. Is this just because the frets are high and and I am pressing them too hard or perhaps the nut maybe cut a little too high? I had another guitar that had the same problem but gradually seemed to settle down after getting new strings. Is the answer that you have to have a super light touch on these modern guitars as my older guitars with smaller frets don't have this issue? Kind regards and thanks for years of help and knowledge..Richard from New Zealand
@rickyl95404 жыл бұрын
@j77 Thanks for asking. I tried mostly on second and third frets but I took it to the shop and they measured the nut height and it was too high. They also lowered the strings slightly at the bridge end. This new G and L tele also had a stripped screw that bolted the neck on. I mean the screw couldn't be tighted it kept turning, so they are fixing that and getting a luthier to do a full set up at the shops expense. So thats good service.

@j77 I see Scott couldn't answer, he's mesmerized by his own shirt!

I will have to remember them and get some made to keep for a rainy day. I have it on my channel if you ever get a chance to check out my channel. A lot of new bass covers as well. These can be custom cut for your guitar and these cover the whole fingerboard. this isn’t vinyl it’s a high quality material built to last a long time .these don’t leave any residue when removed even after years and can be reused up to 3 times and can be customized to almost anything. Jockomo product does not cover the entire fingerboard , his are made of pet vinyl. has a good product as well. it just way different in nature than ours..
