I’m a college student that works part time as a bartender; my job’s at a broadway theater in my college town. For the last month, we had Lion King as the broadway show, and during the opening and Be Prepared, they cut off a section of the theater so the actors, hyenas, can come in through that curtain side. I was trying to restock my bar, so I went to that side to get what I needed, the clerk yelled at me, “THIS SIDE OF THE THEATER IS CLOSED!!”, like I was about to cost her her next 5 checks. So surprised at her, or anyone, yelling at me like that, couldn’t think of a response, just stared at her and went back to my bar.

What if there was an anime or manga but the main characters backstory was based off the fucked up childhood of some of the animals in this vid. Like maybe they witnessed there parent killing off there sickly sibling infront of them.

@@adamskeans2515 In the movie Beetlejuice empathized with Lydia and seemed to see her more as a peer, tried talking her out of taking her own life, and it's been a while but I think it was at least implied that he had taken his, and set up a business marriage because it was the only way to get what he wanted. Furthermore, he upheld not only the letter of his end of the agreement, but seemed to uphold the spirit of it as well by not killing anyone that Lydia had personal attachments to (ie: her dad, step mom, and Otho, we also don't technically know if he killed the two he sent through the roof, but I will assume he did), and Lydia didn't uphold any part of her end of the agreement, and she only had one thing to do, and no it was not to sleep with him, bear his children, or anything like that, it was essentially a green card marriage, but with an interaction of laws between the living and dead where the laws of the dead seem to take precedence over the laws of the living.

Avatar is an anime, because Anime is literally just "animation" in Japanese. "Manga" is literally "comic" in Japanese. Japan doesn't distinguish American made cartoons or comics from their own through those words. We only use "anime" and "manga" as shortcuts for us Americans to distinguish if it came from Japan. When really they are just direct dictionary translations of animation and comics. There is some cultural differences in how Japan and America make their properties, but both countries have been bouncing art styles off each other for decades. To Japan, Ducktales is just as much an Anime as Dragonball. The Flash is just as much a Manga as Azumanga Daio.
