Well said I just hope the powers to be are reading these comments but they won't be because it doesn't affect them but if someone fly-tip in their garden or on their land the law would be changed

I don't agree with people dumping rubbish. but council is overcharging people for disposing.£5.00 a tyre that's outrageous it should be only in bulk. something affordable like 10p per kilo or large any five items for £20.00 if that's make''s sense?

Council tips should be free they already get paid enough in council tax to more than cover getting rid of rubbish especially when the metal plastic and things like that are sold even some of the stuff is sold if it's in decent condition and useable.

Councils are only minor politicians, the real politicians need to stand up and make the councils responsible for the waste in their areas. This is the only way to stop fly tipping. In Australia, we have a weekly rubbish pickup... every week for general rubbish from the household, every second week it is recyclable rubbish and the intermediate week is green waste. We also have an opportunity twice a year to have 'kerbside pickup' this is items that will not fit in a normal bin. This also changes from council areas that you are under. Come on England, wake up and do the right thing to knock out the reason for fly tipping.

Its cheaper to buy a sheet of plasterboard than to get rid of it. What drugs are British politicians are taking? I hate fly tipping but I completely understand why people do it.

In Lincolnshire council recycling places are free you can deposit a dustbin load a day of hardcore at any center, fly tipping is a blight and builders put on the price of a skip on their price but do not get it to make more profit, Councils need to help as well if they are saying it is costing them so many million a year to clean up then charge builders a minimum fee to drop their waste bearing in mind they are making a profit from the metal, hardcore and electronics, after that any fly tipper caught gets hammered prison and massive fine

Some idiots will always fly tipp But councils are to greedy with there prices. That can't help. Also people without cars. How .much does it cost to get took away!!!!!. Germany has lorry's picking up old furniture mattresses. And so on. It is a free service. A lorry driving around a town twice a week must be doable
