Yeah! Finally someone showed how to properly install the stones.

Hello Wondermill, can you INCLUDE this in your manual? Some engineer needs a lesson on helping the customer, your manual nowhere talks about the handle assembly with the 'Upgrade' and how to assemble it. Attention customers feel free to chime in as I feel I am the only one frustrated with this new UPGRADE. LOL.

Trying to put this together with the owners manual and other institutions included in my package WAS NOT that easy. Not everyone has internet or wants to get on the internet just to set up this mill. There needs to be better information in the manual I would love to see better set up or getting started information as well. For instance information on the first time to clean it before use. Can you wash the body with the bearing in it? Should you oil the bearings before first use? Why is there a parts list for two springs (thick and thin), but they aren’t included with the package? Are they needed before use?

Do the stones wear out ?

Would have been great if you could have mentioned any of this is the "manual". I've just spent 30min reading the manual and watching the set-up video and wondering why it wouldn't grind

Absolutely correct, I wonder if anyone reads these comments from Pocatello ID @ Wondermill? I guess we will find out. I am adding my own comment as maybe it will help fix things. They may want to update the photos too on the manual to show the new mill, might be kinda smart as its the new UPGRADE LOL.

The stones have an average life of 7 years when used 2-3 times a week.

The owners manual instructions are abysmal. No diagrams to show what goes where, and descriptions don’t cut it. And in this vid, I don’t see where we install the hood?

If you (or anyone else) is still wondering, the hood slides on behind the bolt-on grinding head. It's a little fiddly, but you can balance the hood on the bolt studs, then insert the studs into the holes in the mill as shown at 1:15. The grain guide just sits in there as a pinch-fit. I've used the hood in some places and not others... the grind falls mostly vertical, and I have a bowl that's large enough to catch. You'd definitely need the hood for motorized grinding, or to land in a smaller bowl. Agreed on the instructions. The mill's pretty simple to figure out, but the instructions weren't much help.
