Just a suggestion, but since you made the rat mods, it would be cool if you did a mod for fancy rats as well. They come in so many different colours, that would fit perfectly with the colour morph feature Planet Zoo has. They could even be walkabout habitat animals, as fancy rats are so friendly towards humans.

27:14 So I helped commission this one (Cenozoiclover covered the other half.) Chalicotheres are basically weird as hell relatives of horses that have claws on their feet instead of hooves. They were quite common in the world for a while, but ultimately vanished over climate change. Fun fact: I originally wanted to have two Chalicothere mods to represent both branches of the Chalicotheres. The reason we ultimately went with two of the Schizotheriinae branch is that ultimately the other branch would have required a lot more work to be a good mod for various reasons.

I looooove the cryptids you've been doing. They just look so fun haha. If you ever get the time, have you thought about using monkeys to do Imps or other little demonic creatures? I think they would fit great! Anyway, fantastic content as always

The elephant beetle reminds me of the triceratops beetle I found in my kitchen last week that scared the crap out of me. Fun fact, another name for the Triceritops beetle is the love scarab. The comma butterfly is called that because there is a mark on the forewing that looks like a comma 😊 ALSO not long ago, there was kid who hunted a wild boar that's BIGGER than Hogzilla. Which is (not) fun to think about there being invasive wild pigs growing to be half the size of a tank lol

Both the paleoloxodon and the paraceratherium are "head to head" for the biggest mammal to ever walk on Earth, with both of them towering around 6m at the shoulder.

These are all amazing creatures good work everyone involved. Since I started doing class mods for BG3, I can't imagine all the hair pulling and tinkering went into all those amazing looking animals.

Fun fact! Short Faced Bears and the traditional Cave Bear are actually two separate species! Short faced bears (Arctodus) are a North American species that could run and keep up with herds and horses, while the Cave Bear (Ursus spleaus) are a mostly herbivorous/some omnivory species from Eurasia that is closely related to modern brown bears. Cave art has shown them with rusty red coats and they have a deep history tied with both us and Neanderthals, which would make them a fun addition into the sphere of Planet Zoo!

And short-faced bears are closely related to the Andean or spectacled bear, while cave bears were probably close relatives of brown bears. 🙂

To have you mention the zoo books elephant page, that has stuck in my memory for years. Loved zoo books, and getting to see all of those crazy pachyderm species together like that was my favorite page out of all my zoo books. Also, as a huge paleo fan, don’t bother with those critics. It’s ridiculous, as you say, it’s just a game. They are just art, made only for fun. It truly doesn’t matter at the end of the day, people should just be glad to have such an interesting and niche animal like this in the game for their paleo parks.

As an Australian, Drop Bears are real, stay clear people. They will usually lurk in toilets or spare (guest) rooms.

They can, yes. Limit guest capacity and that can help when it starts to slow and lag. Your computer could also be overheating. I'm assuming you keep it plugged in so you don't play off the battery?

Are you downloading them from nexusmods? If you’re downloading mods from anywhere else they could have viruses and malware in them.

Hey Guys, I have a problem with my installed mods. Whenever I wanna buy a mod animal my game crashes and even when I restart the game it istantly chrashes. I deleted all mods, but still chrashes. Do I miss any ACSE Update or something? I first thought it was a problem with one mod animal, but it seems to be all of them.

Why don't animals get interspecies enrichment with any similar species, and just... what's from the same habitat? It would for example make perfect sense for all equids to be enriched by each other, but you probably would get minus points on exhibit accuracy (from the guests, not the animals) if you keep domestic donkeys with zebras or Przewalski's. I just don't get why a lot of species that would love to be together in reality, get no enrichment from it in game.

Antiguamente Frontier tenía puesto como un límite máximo de especies, y si ponías más mods de ese número el juego dejaba de ir, ha eliminado Frontier ese límite máximo y ahora podemos tener mil especies por ejemplo?
