i love grounded and when I first picked it up I didn't know what I was doing so i left it alone for a while and I went back and I've been playing with my wife and its awesome we love to take our time and explore also this video was great for beginners I shared it to a couple of friends thanks so much your channel is amazing keep it going!!!!

I would suggest that for combat you dont mix and match your armor early game, you wont see actual benefit to this until your in T3+ usually (for travel aphid slippers are amazing though). The ladybug armor is easily attainable with the ability to kite a stinkbug 40 feet to the red anthill in order to get a red ant club and then a little practice on perfect blocking with ladybugs this setup is a great jumping off point to learn the game.

There's slight benefit in mix matching tier two but i completely agree with your statement! I usually rock the ladybug armor and the spider shins for a bit until I get tier 3. When you play enough, you'll get to tier three easily so just have fun and enjoy the journey!

Glad I came across this video. Very well done. I’ve got close to 500 hrs in since pre 1.0 and decided to come back. And this video is great for a refresher. Plus you seem pretty chill.

I unplugged, no regrets yet, ran into a infected wolf spider though.. I just used it to run into other bugs and get parts I couldn't get myself. (I'm playing with a 5x creature health multiplier) so getting bug parts take forever, using other insects or bugs help me get more parts faster.

Great video. How you tell stuff, how you give ideas etc is totaly perfect. Non useless info, no clickbait. Im 40 yo gamer and like watch vids before I start any game to have an idea and I have never seen a perfect describer like you. You are just perfect. Keep up the good work. I'm not a new player, but I've never been a lab past the Hedge lab, as I tend to repeat worlds over and over and never make progress.. I'm proud to say the first time, I'm almost now to the pond lab. At this moment, I am playing on custom mode, but no game breaking changes.. in fact, mind breaking.. I like myself a challenge, so the only change I did was put the game on Whoa! Mode and set the creatures Health Scaling to 5X.. It's been very difficult, but I'm enjoying it and planning on staying in this world. The first ant alone felt like a boss battle, but now I'm once again overpowering them. Thank you for this video.

Thorough, insightful and just an all around entertaining guide. This will be a great help for new players and keeps the grounded community growing! Much appreciation for your content. That being said, I give this a 9/10 due to lack of focus on all the pretty baby mushrooms living around the garden. I mean the games fun and all but I’m really just here to see them 🍄

Thank you so much sis! I happened to google if grounded would be on console. Yup came out about a week ago. Me and my son play different type of games then each other. We were big into the forrest for 6 years. That game raised that boy! We are loving the experience. This video will help us have a better experience today. Sorry for long text ❤

I just installed this last night on Xbox X, through Gamepass. The reviews were very good. I don't know if this is a popular game, a niche game or the "hidden gem", but only playing a few hours I'm hooked. A very well designed and thought out game from Obsidian. A real and pleasant surprise. Thanks for the video.

Another thing I would add about armor thats important that i seen on reddit and in forms a lot is that acorn armor causes the bug to be more hostile.

If bleed is the name of the game an spiky spring carried you. Does that mean there is a better version of that weapon or a better bleed build or sp is the best . I think I saw you can upgrade them roght?

Honestly, after the spiky sprig carried me, I go straight for the club of the mother demon. You can use the assassin's armor for the bleed buff and you can stack it with any infection, poison, or venom weapon to add more damage over time. There are a lot of combos out there so experiment!

New Grounded player here. Thank you so much for your videos it has helped me understand what I'm doing. But one thing i can't figure out. Where you see your quests it has nothing besides incomplete and the menu that shows my health everything is maxed out. I didn't change anything with the settings when i started. I picked Mild for difficulty. But I'm not sure what I've completed or what i need to complete. Can someone tell me what i need to fix or where to go to see that?

No fancy technique required. Just hucking it at a creature will do a lot of damage. It's my go to strat in the beginning of the game.

Trust me. We've all been wanting more inventory space. Get yourself a pet! they can hold some stuff. As for thirst, unlock the canteen quickly so you can carry water around with you. I'm glad you enjoyed the vid and welcome to Grounded!

That's an excellent question. I do believe there is one but I've never reached it and I built a pretty tall diving platform lol. Sky's the limit perhaps! I mean, I've seen people build up to the roof of the house! It's crazy.

Yes it is still located in the hedge. Should be the first door you see after at the first zipline.

Played Early Access back then on PC and now bought it on the PS5. So much changed over the Years. Overall great Game but the Basebuilding Controlls with Controller are just a Pain. Same goes for the overall Controller settings. Why cant i just quick swap my Tools via D-Pad? Why do i have to open the Radial Menü for it? Its just a pain especially when youre fighting with enemies and just wanna use a Healing Item.

Yo, I feel that! It's so interesting to see what different games do and IMO grounded does it better. I could never get the hang of Valheim. Controller building just sucks so I switch to KB+M lol. Gotta adapt you know?

Noobie question: I’ve seen videos from other creators making “traps” for aphids and weevils using clover or crow roofs, half walls, stem pillars, and a single floor on the pillars. They place plant and mushroom slurry on the “table” they made from the pillars and floor and the next day 10+ aphids are trapped. Was this patched out of the game? I tried making one and only caught one aphid. Idk if it is not possible or if my build was just incorrect. I built this trap against a palisade wall to make it look good w my base on the stone near the juice box at the koi pond.

I haven't seen any patch or fix for this. Though, I don't have much experience. I know you must AFK for a bit for the trap to work. Try AFKing for about 30 minutes to an hour and see if there is an increase in traffic.

Hmmm great question! I play xbox and even though I have the X|S, I could still play with friends who have Xbox One. If you're reffering to playing Grounded on PS4, it is possible due to dual entitlement. At least that's what I looked up. I hope I answered your question. @@Killerhub93 Oh no! I mean, it can be pretty difficult and tbh multiplayer isn't perfect lol. Parrying is difficult but with practice, you'll be a pro! There are plenty of people out there that are looking for friends to play with! Try people within your region. It can ping a lot if you try in another country lol.
