OMG thank you so much for this awesome video, I was trying to find the infected black ant infected recipe and other videos unfortunately skipped the crucial step of showing how you got to the room or the path to get there, they showed a second or two of the room, but forgot, most of the rooms look very similar. Not to mention these recipes almost blend in with their environment, NGL I walked past that recipe a number times, I just thought it was a game decoration and nothing more. This video was very helpful, thanks again, cheers.

what i think is the best route to take is to befriend the queens start a new game plus then INFECT all the queens since infecting and poisoning both give the ant queen parts plus the chests are only there in new game plus then when you start another new game plus you can do the infected ant queen stuff so yeah poisoning is kinda useless when you can infect them instead

@@nicolasrosocha4352 you want to infect it instead of poisoning it because infecting it still gives you the parts you would get if you poisoned it unfortunately it does not work for the fire ant queen because you need new game plus level two

I killed them on my first play through, this second play through I'm going to befriend them but you should befriend on 1st play through...in 2nd play through, there will be new items behind them

Well as far as the video states… full infection isn’t possible until NG2. Reg Game-red infection unlocks NG1- Black infection unlocks NG2- Fire Infection Unlocks. But I was thinking about the same idea, Reg Game- Full friendly NG1-full Poisons, NG2-Full infections NG3- back to friends? Or whatever parts I might need or want lol

I found the poison recipes on my first playthrough, I'm not sure why you said ng+ but great guide. Though I did finish the game by growing big; I NEVER USED THE REMIX-R thing that was added 1.4

Tbh, this update seems to be the most satisfying one we've ever got. We got Ant queens, new weapons and almost Infinite replayability! Everything we've all wanted.

@@aduckonquak2139 I think it has to do with the fact that there's quite a few mysteries locked behind higher NG+...and most underwhelmed are only playing in NG+ 1-2 I think we have Tier 4 weapons once we reach NG+ 4...and then there's the Infected Ants that can spawn, and have their own category we could have more anomalies, just...have to find them...I mean, the changes that were written down had "REDACTED"...so, there's a lot we don't know yet

Would be insane if they brought out a queen bee with the same mechanic as the ant queens but instead of a baby ant you get a grub that eventually turns into a bee that becomes a mount allowing you to fly around the backyard

I’ve previously 100% the game prior to this update. Only thing I need to do is figure out what to do with ant queens, then remix yard. That being said… would it make more sense for me to infect the red queen, & befriend the other two before remixing? Or another way? Trying to figure out how to maximize my runs considering I’m already at end game on my first run.

Antbassador seems really powerful for early and mid-game run-throughs. My question is if you have the set bonus of the Red Ant Armor and 2/3 Antbassador, will you still be friendly to the Fire Ants??

Hi Para, so its recomended to kill every queen in your "normal" world to get all their parts, then in new game plus 1 you infect befriend them all, and after that infect them ?

Would I be right in saying that I need to do the following to unlock all 3 Tiers? Infect the Red Ant Queen for the Links (do this in my normal world so when I go into NG+1 she is infected) Infect the Black Ant Queen for Bracelets (do this in NG+ 1 so when I go into NG+2 she's infected but the Red Ant Queen is back to normal) Infect the Fire Ant Queen for the Necklace (do this in NG+2 so when I go into NG+3 she's infected and every other Ant Queen will be back to normal)? I'm assuming I would need to do it this way since when I go into NG+1 the Red Ant Queen will be infected and I'll get the Sausager and the Link, so I can't infect her again so it would need to be the Black Ant Queen right? I may have just answered my own dilemma but thought I'd double check :)

You keep everything, spare her to get the cards then infect, then poison that's probably your best bet

Soo Befriend them on a normal story progression on NG1 Kill them (since you cant get the other 2 unstil NG2) and then on NG2 infect them so that in NG3 they are all infected to befriend them. Am i right?

How much preparation should I do before NG+? I have most of the pre-1.4 "best" weapons at lv 9 as well as a full fire ant armor set at lv 9. I have a 100% report card now (post 1.4) as well. Am I good to go?

You might want to stack up on some quartzite if you’re planning on upgrading the new elemental weapons but other than that you seem good

Sounds good, you can get more quartzite as it respawns in ng+

For ever +1 you add the yoked monsters receive an ADDITIONAL perk. They always have 3 by default (damage, speed, health) but the others are randomized buffs that increase as you complete MORE NG+s

You can’t befriend the infected version, the moldy hoagie just unlocks new recipes, doesn’t count as befriending

Befriend all the queens before NG+. Then Infect red and black in ng+1 and poison fire. Then infect fire in NG+2

Of course. You’re starting a “new” game each time you remix the yard. Story related items reset & any queens respawn.

No but it gives you a mutation that makes them friendly
