I think the one time bosses should have a guaranteed drop. Bit harsh to give a 25% drop on a boss you can only kill once.. but that's my view

The fact you have to go to ng+4 is just insane. The original playthrough has taken me over 300 hours (just to get 100%, don't know why it won't give it to me since I've done EVERYTHING). The fact they want you to play this 4 times is just too much without burning yourself out.

I got 100% with this current update right after patching. You need all ant queen recipes except infected black and fire ant. Don't forget the new scab location and note inside the remixer room. I can send a screen shot whenever

I was definitely looking forward to the tier 4 stuff more than anything else in this update, but after just now learning that I can't get them until ng+ ×4? I will literally never be able to get there. I could understand if they were locked to new game +, but all they've done is make it impossible for me to ever use them without cheats or mods, which isn't how I want to play, nor would I know how anyway. So, neat.

Interesting. Finished my first game two weeks ago. On easy. Which was good for me. Never fought the Wasp Queen or the Mantis. After seeing this, I am gonna uninstall the game. I really hope that this update gets a rework, because beating the game thrice, having to do the javamatic defense (with infused black ox beatles and rolly pollys) and having to beat an infused broodmother with more health than all phases of the infected broodmother, just so that you can get a weapon with a shader (that's a reskin if the water shader) seams a bit like fuller content (especially because NG+ through NG+++ are the same except for tweaked stats.

To be honest I wish that instead of new game plus you could talk to Wendal and choose a difficulty level that can also be changed back. Also I think for how hard and how long it takes to get these infused weapons you should also get mighty lvl 6 perk with the random perk.

Did you test if the scythe gets the perk enhancement? Since it has a different name and item code, seems like it might not benefit from the attack speed enhancement, but I'm not far enough to test for myself yet (did just start NG+1 though!)

they need to add infused armor or lower the scaling cause it is literally impossible on medium difficulty to play or even think about beating bosses past ng+4 the scaling of this update sucks and they didn't test anything out, I'm severely disappointed also I'm almost certain apex predator doesn't work with infused boss weapons. the infused wasp queen bow didn't spawn ads for me and the COTMD didn't spawn spiderlings

Thanks for the videos. I'm playing through this game a few hours at a time with a friend in Germany. It's super creative and we both really like it, but we are super early in the game and not really pushing through the story missions. An issue I'm having is all the new guides and information are for the latest end game things in the 1.4 update. The starter guides are from so long ago, and a lot of the advice isn't applicable because things have changed so much. Any chance of a revamped beginners guide?

Heads up for anyone....kill the bosses multiple times during your first play through or second...that way you can just go kill the bosses after starting a new game plus and you don't have to collect the ingredients in a harder world

I reverted my save back to before I remixed the yard. It was fun at first but then I realized I’m not missing out on much. They need to add a crafting station they can call the fuse station. This station will allow you to break cones and waffles into crinkles and combine waffles and crinkles into cones. It should also be allowed to fuse crinkles onto the infused boss weapons replacing the effect they already have on them. I’m not gonna kill, dupe, or save scum a 0.027522935779817% chance for the cone I want. This station can be earned in a later NG+ and possibly cost some boss infused ooze to fuse crinkles and waffles. I honestly don’t think I want to touch NG+ until something like this is added and Whoa mode actually be fair. If they add a way for me to customize my trinket build then I will gladly grind to the specified NG+ to get it. But until then I’m not touching NG+. I really enjoyed grounded for its strategy and builds but relying on RNG so I can customize my build further is annoying.

same, I had an invincible tiger mosquito attack my base too, after like 10 mins or It got completed and he just left, but still, was very strange, kept aggro so he didn't damage my base or anything n just kept blocking him, so aside from wasting time wasn't too bad, just really weird, and something I definitely don't want to happen again, wondering were you playing solo on a solo world? solo on a shared world? or with people? wondering if that's related to the bug as I was solo on shared world

I've never beat the game and am really close rn, but I just don't have the time after ng+ to ever reach ng+4, it's frustrating to know how much content you'll never get because they just keep moving the goal post, if they gave everything in ng+ then most people interested would be able to experience it, but I remember someone looked at it only like 1% of the players have the achievement for beating the game. (Though I'm sure some people just didn't do it though were there or cheated some how and reached it) so not only is all the content for a tiny part of the player base but also Further past that to lengths making it a fraction of a fraction.

It’s best to do this in a normal playthrough more of an achievement took me a week of maybe 6 hours each day to get new game plus 1 not bad and once there everything is easier to achieve u need dedication and determination don’t cheat folks ur taking the fun outta the game

He used "Swap To Custom Game" in Game Settings (Creature Health Scaling turned to 0). Makes all creatures a one-shot kill. He still had to play through the NG+ levels.

infused weapons are not considered boss weapons. Apex doesnt work on them. its not "infused scythe of blossom" its "infused axe" with random cosmetic skin.

I don’t exactly know if apex predator doesn’t work on them, but I do know it DOES in fact say “Infused Scythe”, you can see in the video itself as well. The stats are different for it as well compared to the other axes

@@ahmadalbishe8994As long as you max out HP and healing, you should be OK. Stamina only makes it a bit easier, and hunger and thirst drain do nothing to the difficulty.

One thing I just don't understand after like 120+ hours of playing since before the game was even finished its story is these bosses. They are just so imbalanced. Having maxed out NG+ health, maxed armor, the best perks, mutations and weapons AND being able to parry quite well the bosses just so so much damage. Getting one shot with a completely maxed build is harder than any Souls game I've ever played. And I play on Mild a huge amount of the time. On Medium its unbelievable. Every boss one shots you, summons adds, debuffs and buffs you and in the Infected Broodmother's case has 3 fucking phases and nearly impossible to survive attacks. Bosses are supposed to be a challenge using everything you've learned put to the test, not a wall of health that one shot you from full health even with damage resistances and the best possible gear and builds.
