We definitely need a film on the Life of Sid Sriram - How he was born, migrated to US, grew up in US, school problems he faced being a desi guy, his interest in music, how he went through his teen years, fighting for his identity, trying to fit into this world, his different musical carvings, his musical breakthrough, the first song, the road to greatness and finally the genius he is now!

Normally when Vocalist sing without music instruments, only his Voice gotta be heard, however when Sid Sriram sings , I have heard the sounds of invisible instruments too playing in the background of his voice,really a stellar metallic voice,which needs no instruments, his Voice itself is a mixture of both. Kudos to Music Vocal Maestro Sid!! Thanks and Regards

Your ability to switch from eastern to western music is just superb .The lesson to be learnt from you is that the foundation to be an outstanding success one must start with caranatic music and the rest will fall in place. Keep up the spirit of caranatic music
@pria2096 жыл бұрын
This kid can sing! :)... His ability to switch and emote is wonderful... Work a bit more on Tamizh diction Sid, I guess the habit of truncating syllables or the way you amalgamate them with the next syllable comes from singing Carnatic, proper pronunciation of words in their entirety is the only thing that needs polishing and you'll be perfect...

Good job Sid Sriram..👏Well expressed the journey in evolution of music from your perspective as a member of the Carnatic Musicians family, enjoyed thru' your focus on innovative scope and shedding skin for a new one.. Appreciate and agree dude with that point.. 👍Keep it up.. A special mention on that Blues mode song "Adiye.." in the Tamil film is a unique arrangement by ARR and wondered while watching on the big screen the way you managed to sing the lyrics in Tamil would have been kinda challenge I guess.. Not ordinarily singable like other film songs upon a single listening unless one has been regularly into Western music as a Band member or a regular listener of that Blues genre greats like Ella Fitzgerald or B B King or Louis Armstrong or George Benson and so on it is quite a difficult song undoubtedly is my opinion.. Believe me the guy sitting next to me in the movie hall soon after that song sequence didn't like the least and commented as "thoo.. idhu oru pattu.." (In Tamil..) and was unhappy about the melody.. Well, I literally pitied him and felt sorry ( as " nee paavam thambi.." in my mind..) for his ignorance on the Western music/Blues in particular.. It was a pleasant surprise to me about the song as I have not heard a typical Blues song in the Tamil movies for ages except one particular song of the great MSV's compositions sung by L R Easwari * Neeyum..Enbadhenna..* in the big hit Tamil film " Vennira Aadai ".. and I have not heard any Orchestra performing this song in all these years even once although I wished to hear live.. To conclude my long sharing lines here, my best wishes to the next generation to explore and exploit such Blues* genre in the coming years of Tamil songs in Movies atleast and make it a kinda common man's casually hummable song..By the way, I am a guitarist, teacher, composer, arranger from Cbe., T. N., India.. Love and listen to all kind of music irrespective.. Warm cheers😊 Vaazhga Valamudan🙏Thanks for your time Sid.. 👍🙏🎸🎼
