Broken Arrow sends me into such a state of euphoria that I can never describe. It was RL's that first struck a cord with me, then Broken Arrow preceding it caught on. These just does something to me. But this album, oh this whole album means so much to me. It's one of those records that got me through the writing my doctoral thesis. Then a few months to its completion they toured Europe and I drove 120 km to Nancy France to see them. Binker and Moses, and Kokoroko opened for them. Then they invited Sheila and the other lady from Kokoroko to play with them. It was one of my best concert and nights ever. I still get super excited when I reflect on that night.
