I have 3 hydroponic houses with Cropking’s bato buckets in them! I have about 2,000 hydroponic plants !! We have peppers, and tomatoes in bato buckets, and the lettuce on our NFT table. Your videos have been such a blessing helping me learn so much and run our farm! Have been watching for a year now and love these videos! Please do one one hydroponic bell peppers :) take care Sierra

Coming here cause the growing seasons aren't long enough in Minnesota and I'm thinking of growing plants in the basement over the off-season.

Sounds like a solid plan! Basements are like the secret lair for plants-perfect for growing while the snow falls outside!

Do it, that's what I do in North Dakota, I have nft, ebb and flow, and dutch buckets. I also have micro green racks. Probably over kill for what you want to do, but I sell some of my stuff. It makes winter fly by.

Wow, this is amazing. Having trouble visualizing the process to manage a vine that long. How many times was the vine lowered? Did it always go back up the same line? Thanks!

Those tomatoes are amazing!! Do any of the vines laying on other Beto buckets ever take root?
@HomegrownPassion6 ай бұрын
They are just laying across the buckets so they are not touching the growing medium but I bet if they did, they would send out roots
@dontbanmebrodontbanme54036 ай бұрын
6:10 - wow, I've never thought of doing that, mainly because each tomato is like my baby and I wouldn't want to cut them off!! But I have chickens, so they'd love that!

Katie, thank you for this informative video; I took many notes. For completeness, what is the flow rate of your drip emitters? Thanks in advance.

Hi Katy. Hope you day is going great. Question. I remember a video that you went to an auction to buy supplies. What’s the name of the auction supplier. I’m trying to find one close to me here in Missouri. Joe
@HomegrownPassion6 ай бұрын
Hi Joe, it was just a local auction house. I looked it up and they don't do anything out of the area. Just watch autions maybe something would come up for you

Hi Katy. Joe from Springfield Missouri. Question, in your Bato buckets how often do you change your Pedialyte and vermiculite? How long can you use that mixture only a year two years etc.
@HomegrownPassion6 ай бұрын
Hey Joe. So, I just pulled the cucumbers, and they were the second planting to grow in the bato bucket. The perlite is now filled with roots, so I am going to change. On tomatoes I change every growth cycle because they are kind of strange plants with disease, and I don't want anything carrying over from the previous year's growth. Hope that answers it

Gorgeous! 28 feet??? That's unimaginable! Wowza. Question - is the doseatron(?) something that's available on a much smaller scale? Or a similar product? Thanks again for the video.
@HomegrownPassion6 ай бұрын
Hey there! Thanks for the comment! Yes, there are smaller dosing options available, dosatron makes smaller units for all applications. The ones I have are probably too big for my application but they are readily available so bigger is always better...
