@@ellenfrostflowers I am so very tempted! My daughter is getting married this year and I would love to add some roses grown "at home" to some small bouquets on the cocktail tables. Thanks for the inspiration!

Will I primarily grow roses, probably no, however I have always wanted a climbing Rose. My plan is to add several into my landscape mostly for me. The forms of the Lady of Shallot and Wollerton Old Hall appeal to me and they are definitely very unique compared to commodity roses. I like the idea of using them for boutonierres also. LOS is supposed to have a very strong repeat and be well adapted to the Mid Atlantic also, I will probably try that lovely lady first. It's encouraging that of all the varieties Lauren knows she chose LOS for you to try first...If I wasn't planning on getting that variety already I would be now. I'm also very rural and most brides in my area would likely not have the budget to buy 100 DA wedding roses for their bridal party. (I didn't). But they would be something unique and special to add to a bridal bouquet. This year I'm working on Lisa' s basics course, but eventually I would like to take Jennie's course for weddings also. Because this is a more rural area I may have a stronger business if I'm not afraid of supplying flowers for events. Realistically I'm 2 years out from having the consistency and confidence in my harvest dates to say I will have these flowers available for your wedding on June 25th. But these would possibly take that long really get going anyway, so I'm starting small with varieties that are tough. P.S. Your arrangements are gorgeous, if my bouquets look half that good after 10 years or so I'll be thrilled!

@ellenfrostflowers I took a screen shot of the "easy" suggestions to try at some point to grow once I get more of a handle on pests. The mild winters here in MI have too many bugs taking over! I'm just a side hustle farmer, hoping to grow into a retirement flower farmer. I watch all of your work with LMZ, you are an inspiration!

1:04:27 Hello Ellen! This series was greatly appreciated! Do you have the other colours (variety of roses) for the other colour palettes? She has given us her rose choice for the colours of Whites and Creams and also Blush pink....but is there a way to provide rose choice for the other colours? I tried going on her website but it would not allow my to see. The reason why I ask because here in Canada- Roses are extremely expensive- David Austin are 89 dollars each- and that would just help me get a tried and true variety. Thanks so much for this! Greatly appreciated! Take care.
