I have found that small liquor bottles tend to have small mouths and as such are ideal for propagation. Unfortunately these type of bottles can often be found as litter in the city so it’s an excellent way to recycle reuse them. It’s easy to remove labels by pouring boiling water on them and then wiping them off, any excess adhesive can be removed easily with oil, such as spray on oils or even peanut butter.
@frogmonkeymoo4 жыл бұрын
Jann Elaine Eleodinmuo LOL, when you started your second sentence with “unfortunately” I thought you were going to say “unfortunately that means I have to drink a lot of liquor!” Great tip re the recycling, I’ll be keeping an eye out for those bottles. Helps clean up the local park too, in a small way.

Speaking for the moms here: I know it's a struggle deciding what to do with your "free time" while the baby is sleeping (could I sleep? do some laundry? can I get some work done? I should clean). I was always told to sleep when the baby sleeps and I wished that I had listened without guilting myself. What I'm trying to say (as a mom of one 8 year-old with baby fever) please include Kai (sp) in more of your videos. That way you can more easily schedule rest, work and baby time. Love you soooo much! Keep up the great content. ✌

harli, not sure if this is tmi but i figured why not be vulnerable with a stranger, right? i just recently stumbled upon your channel. i have never really watched youtube before. i have pretty poor mental health, which can make it difficult to focus on anything or find the energy to take care of the modest plant collection i've been working on for around two years. this summer, i decided to finally start medication, and over the last week or so i have finally started to feel less like a zombie lol. anyway, as my energy came back, so did my excitement to grow (literally) my collection. this led me to google, which led me to tons of youtube how tos, etc., and then eventually, one of your videos. you have a presence that makes someone feel immediately comfortable with them. i have really enjoyed not just the informative content of your videos, but also your friendliness, your positivity, and things like the silly jokes/voices that remind me of how i interact with my friends. there is no purpose to this comment outside of telling you thank you. i watch your videos almost every day and they have really been a bright spot in returning to reality. i saw your video today where you talked about kindness over the internet, and i just wanted to send this because sometimes people just need to hear nice things, but also because sometimes people need to say nice things. btw, i don't think your voice is annoying. i always thought it was soothing and i even watch your videos at night sometimes. sorry this is so long :( your fellow plant friend, soph
