We've built over 2 dozen successful blogs and KZbin channels over the past several years, and we're continuously starting more sites and channels to stay current on what works and what doesn't.
In this blogging/KZbin webinar, we share the EXACT up-to-date strategies we use to be successful making each site or channel, and several pitfalls to avoid along the way.
You can STILL be successful in making a living online! We hope this give you the steps and confidence you need to get it done!

When you're ready to start your business to earn online income, check out Project 24, our membership program that teaches you how to work toward replacing your current income with income from websites and KZbin channels in about 24 months. Check it out here: incomeschool.com/project24/?r...
Also check out our stupid fast and crazy functional Wordpress theme, Acabado. incomeschool.com/acabado
Project 24 is a product of Income School LLC. Results mentioned are not typical. The trademark “Project 24” refers to the goal of some people to create a successful business in 24 months, but is not a promise or guarantee of that success. Many online businesses fail because, like any business, it requires hard work, skill, and dedication. Before making business decisions, consult financial and legal professionals licensed in your jurisdiction.

I am that friend who earns their income online. It was hard work, but after 9 months of working my butt off I was able to give my 2 weeks notice earlier this week. Granted, I had a lot of experience, and it might take longer for most people, but I believe anyone can do it. The catch is you have to be willing to put in the hard work!

I swear this is why I love these guys and gals! They're never trying to sell you something other than maybe their own course which is very subtle. And anyway you could listen to all these videos and probably get as much as from the course. These guys have never made me feel like I need to run out and buy a WordPress plugin. In fact it's the opposite sometimes they're talking me out of buying plugins. I have learned far more and have been encouraged far more than anywhere else.

The biggest mistake newbie content creators make is thinking that they have to come up with something REVOLUTIONARY and NEW. The problem is... you might be writing content that NO ONE ELSE would want to read. Thankfully, there's a SHORTCUT to blogging success (assuming that you already did your NICHE SELECTION homework correctly), find COMPETING CONTENT that is already successful (in terms of social media shares) and REWRITE a BETTER VERSION. Rewriting not only helps you LEVEL UP your writing skills so you can deliver MORE VALUE to your readers but it also enables you to get your COMPETITION to do your homework for you. How? You build on their strengths and correct their weaknesses. This is how rewriting works.

You didn't mention trustworthiness. I trust you guys, so that's why I tune in. Seriously, your honesty comes across as genuine. Often that means, to me at least, more than anything out there. For example, Neil Patel does not come across to me this way - he's the guy trying to sell something. I don't know why I feel that way, but I do. Anyhow, I know that my brand needs to be honest. Anyhow, you guys deliver and are quite motivating - thanks for everything!

Very helpful and much appreciated. You’ve also answered my question of why I always get randoms emailing me asking me to add links to their site within my blog posts. 🙄 I thought it was annoying and rude (and still do) but now I understand it is from old eroneous ideas out there telling them it is essential for their site to rank. One of the requests was fairly silly - they wanted me to add a link to their site about education tools for children, when my blog post was related to another topic and explicitly said bouncy castles were better without kids (and various other child unfriendly remarks)!

The key thing upfront seems to be knowing things about something of interest to others that can be monitized. I know a little about a lot of different things: general computer use, web design, exercise, martial arts, brain science (I've read a few books 😅), copywriting, emergency prep, retail business operations, online marketing, military life, etc. But I can't even imagine creating a resource for people that is any better than what's already available.

Hey Jim/Ricky, Just a question. If you write or pay someone to write your blog. You place the written blog and post it with no pictures, charts etc, just written then to build the blog post over a week or two with all the pictures, charts, videos what would Google do. Would Google penalise the blog because where it started, and would it confess the SEO. Be good hear from you.

Hey Jim and Ricky I have great news but I am in need of a serious answer to one question. I've built 2 websites over the past 4 and a half months and one has had some success. I started a KZbin channel first for the one that ended up being unsuccessful, but less than 2 weeks ago I started the second sites KZbin channel. It has 7,700 subs and several videos with over 100k views! Only one minor issue I'm getting these views by covering one item that is time sensitive and will end within 2 weeks. So today I did my usual video and then a second "transition" video also. It hasn't performed anywhere near my other videos though but does has several thousand views in 3 hours. My question is. Should I continue to do 2 videos a day? My usual one and a "transition" video until I find the next topic within my genre? I've watched ALL of your videos and LOVE your advice, I used it all. This is a throw away account, I'm not looking for exposure just hoping for a geniune answer from you guys or one of the other amazing viewers. Much love... Seriously

I discovered you all a couple of weeks ago and have been listening to the downloads while at work (YT prime 😀). Looking to grow my websites/channel. Question: what do you do when you feel like you don't have anything else of value to offer your audience? I just discovered my membership feature is available but I don't dare turn it on because I'm already struggling to get more than an average of 30 views. My uncle told me the reason I haven't "blown up" yet is because although I have good "information " about money, I am not at the point where I can flex and tell people how much I MADE and "how they can to". I guess my videos are entrepreneurship theory and not actual entrepreneurship? Anyhow, I'm wondering if I should just keep doing research on business topics and making the videos I've been making or put things on pause until I can show a wad of money?🤷🏾‍♀️ I'm enjoying building up my blogs/websites. I'm in in for the long game, but the low feedback on YT is making me doubt myself there too.

It's probably more of a psychological impact. If targeting the US market it's best to get a .com. it's not like it'll really affect your rankings but a user is more likely to choose a .com URL from the serp than a .co.uk or another extension. This is what we learn in Project 24

At 18:55, Ricky suggests that putting anything on social media that links to posts on a site is something that Google will penalise on because of the backlink factor. Does this now mean that we shouldn’t put anything on Pinterest or a Facebook page, with a link to a post, because the backlinks will be detrimental to the ranking chances of the post?
@IncomeSchool
@IncomeSchool 4 жыл бұрын
Not exactly. I was saying that spamming the internet with links to your content can lead to manual penalties. Pinning an article on Pinterest isn’t the same as spamming the comments section of other sites, forums, and social media. Google likes to see links because each link from another person is like a vote of confidence in your content. But google wants to see other people organically linking to your content. SEO isn’t intended to be a race to see who can spam the internet with the most links. And google has openly stated that actively manipulating their algorithm through practices like link building violates their recommended practices and can lead to manual penalties.

Message here is if you're not spending a lot of time researching and watching KZbin videos to make deep content, you can't compete.. My conclusion is that writing a response post in an hour is BULLSHIT! It's also my experience.

I love how easy it is to be successful online, according to people who make money by telling you how easy it is to be successful online. What a beautiful world.
@IncomeSchool
@IncomeSchool 4 жыл бұрын
That’s one way to look at it. The other way is “How great is it that these people who make money online in numerous ways have made a process and laid it out so I don’t have to spend years figuring it out for myself?!” I get the cynicism though. This industry is full of snake oil salesmen. But if you watch many videos on this channel and read some of the comments you’ll see the proof.

I am subscribed to this channel. I learn a lot from every video. I liked this video. HOWEVER, because they are not professional teachers, they often forget what it was like to be a beginner and so they neglect to mention the NECESSARY CAVEATS that beginners need to know. For example, at 39:00 or so, he says that making a KZbin video is as easy as grabbing your phone and start recording. What?? Really?? No way. That is absolutely not true. Making a successful YT video is an art form at this point. That's just one example of oversimplification by people who are not teachers. They easily forget what it was like to be a beginner. Having said that, the video is very useful to non-beginners.

The point is that they have a course which takes you through ALL the steps. But it can be that simple to start. If beginners wait to know everything they will never start
@RogueReplicant
@RogueReplicant 4 жыл бұрын
@@ninjaproofreader8289 You make some good points, but you fail to realize that THE VAST MAJORITY of beginners are testing the waters. They will be absolutely turned off by what could have been a good opportunity if they simply "pick up their phone and just start recording". But it's a complex topic,and I understand that people have to start somewhere. I just think it's a disservice to their new viewers to make it seem like it's not a monumental struggle to make money online, not to mention a full-time income. Only 0.01% will ever succeed in this hugely complex and frustrating endeavor.

This video is meant to inspire you to take action...However, your comment is not wrong either, but a YT vid totally depends on the information in the content. BUt you do need good audio, and you can't have people getting sick from bouncy video footage.

Your beginning comment about your "3 videos from "DirtbikePlanet" getting 74k views" is misleading. You fail to state 1)how long it took to get those views. 2) How many of those visits came from your Income School Audience. I'm disappointed because normally you have excellent content. But that statement comes off as well "spammy".....Step up your game boys!

hi- i do enjoy your videos with learning seo for my website in general and for wanting to start a blog for it { i own a handmade jewelry and accessories business- graciescrafthouse.com } i want to try and get more traffic this way and I am a big researcher (mostly winding up helping my boyfriend with something, or me with something for my business) but i do wonder, does my domain name matter a lot to add a blog to my site? graciescrafthouse.com is my domain, my idea for a blog has like going to be sort of like entrepreneur and fashion type blog and what i learn and different tips or interviews type thing and also in a unique perspective how to deal with it as a type 1 diabetic just my general thinking at this present moment-just wanted to know opinion on this thanks

Watching Jim and Ricky is amazing, they are very experienced and have alot of knowledge to share. I can't help it, but watching Ana is just different for me. Sure, she might be confident with the camera, but she isn't an experienced online marketeer. I just feel like she is repeating all the things that were thaught to her in the past months by Jim and Ricky. I have no interest in watching somebody who just started in this space. Maybe it is just me, because I'm already into this industry for 10 years, but I have to skip the video's (or parts of this video) where it is not Jim and/or Ricky who's doing the talking.

@@MidlifeCredo not really. I have a really wide cross section of friends as I'm from Ireland, I've lived in Australia, England, Asia, and now five years in the US. I also used to travel a lot in the US so I know people all over. My wife works for a creative school (full sail) and I've worked for a couple of different companies in the US and kept in contact with dozens of people from them. I also live in Orlando which is a pretty large city, and I'm very social so I meet a lot of people. I literally don't know a single person. I'm sure that, if this is what you do for a living, you also know others who do it, or people will say "oh my cousin makes money on their crochet blog", but I think saying "most people" know someone who makes their living online is just not true for "most people", but I'm sure people who make their living online know a lot of people who make their living online.
