My apricot and plum flower every year. Beautiful. Thousands of flowers. Only a few tiny fruit ever form.

Sounds like a pollination issue.

Gary, do you remember Gold Cup? It's a soil that used to be sold in Southern California. Top pot seems to be similar in struction.

Fantastic videos! I’m in Florida and I’ve got about 50 potted figs and they just seem to be lacking. I grow them in pro mix, rabbit manure and now I would love your soil, your info. makes so much sense! Do you ship to florida? Is there anyway to get it here? Also we only get 100 chill hours 9b central Florida.

Does your soil also work for sakura/flowering cherries? My thoughts are it will (as they are prunus, Judy not grown for fruiting characteristics.)

I pruned back hard a citrus tree and peach tree. Now the trunk is separating on them. Is this normal after a pruning?

A new pest in the last couple of years in Southern California is a Stink bug that is going after my Cherries. It's trying the Loquat and Mulberry but likes the cherries. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_marmorated_stink_bug Sour cherry works well in low chill areas and is self pollinating now on my trees ( grafts from last year). On plums I usually match your experience on chill but I get Santa Rosa to fruit most years.
