Arugula or rocket leaves are the most common salad leaves available in the market. It is a fast-growing crop, which requires rich soil, a lot of sun and a lot of water. It's ready to harvest in 6 weeks.

This video is wonderful and your voice....the calmness reminds me of my grandmother ( not as in age)...you sound confident in my ability to a good job in this task. I can't tell you how much that means to me. She spoke to me the same way the first time she sent me into her kitchen to cook for her all by myself. I was just a child and had never cooked 'anything'. I was so nervous. But it all came out wonderful. Thank you for the instruction and, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for the confident tone of your calming voice. This is my first time attempting to grow arugula. God bless you and keep you.

Hello! Really great and inspiring video, thanks. I just planted my arugula on a small pot 2 days ago, it started to germinate already, but I like this idea of yours putting in a plastic tub, do you know when can I transfer them without destroying the roots? Thank you so much.

Once they are about 4 inches tall, you can transplant them.

Can arugula handle a lot of water, if the soil drains well? I'd like to grow this outside, but I live in a very rainy climate. It grows well on our patio, but I'd like to grow a lot more
@EasyPeasyGardening Жыл бұрын
It can but generally leafy vegetables are susceptible to fungus and other pests with too much water. You can try it.
@dolcepescas6153 Жыл бұрын
@@EasyPeasyGardening Ok.I love copper for those purposes. Put a copper wire around the black bucket, and slugs and pests cannot crawl up, like a salt barrier. Copper sulphate sprayed lightly on leaves kills fungus and other pests, and it's all natural. Wish me luck, I love arugula
