Great video, thanks! I have cloned a nice big chanterelle fruit on agar and was thinking of inoculating grain spawn bags (wheat) with it once my plates are colonised, and in turn inoculate substrate with this colonised grain spawn, rather than use liquid culture. Does this work for chanterelles?

So I know where they grow, my idea is to buy a spore pack and see if I can just spread the spore spawn where they already grow. Would that work? And is spreading a small amount of hardwood sawdust actually helpful?

This too me seems the best way of growing them if you live in the right biom. Just grow them in nature in their own home enviorment.

I've seen people do this with morrels. They just turned their backyard into a good habitat for them and spread the liquid culture in the prime spots. Seems like a reasonable approach with chantrells.

Chanterelles don't propagate through spores you cannot grow them at home or commercially. It has never been done and never will be done. They require a very specific relationship with the trees they grow around. This cannot be duplicated by man in a controlled environment successfully.

As far as i know you can grow chantrells but you need then too also grow the trees that they have a symbiotic relationship with. So its possible in theory. In practice most ppl are not that dedicated.

I love the idea of Mushrooms/fungi and how they grow. I just wish I could eat them. Just the smell of cooking makes me dry Reach. I am unable to digest fungi - missing enzyme in my system . Only food I can not eat (other than the ones I choose not to due to personal preference).

What in the actual F would you need grow lights for mushrooms? 4:06

Mushrooms need light bruh. Also this is likely some bs AI.. chanterelles CAN NOT BE GROWN INDOORS
@roderik1990Ай бұрын
So while mushrooms don't do photosynthesis and won't gain food from light, that doesn't mean that some species don't need light to properly grow. Some mushroom species use the light as triggers and signals for proper growth and development.
