What an incredibly romantic story is your mom and dad! You are like a miracle of circumstances with your parents from opposite sides of the globe and found each other. Question: I am looking at google maps of the phillipines and the discription of the places often define municipalities in different classes like 4th class municipality or 3rd class municipality. What does this designation mean?
@VanandJoe
@VanandJoe Жыл бұрын
Well thank you so much! ❤️ truly incredible how destiny works! I love your question! So The Philippines classify cities and municipalities depending on their population and annual income. A first class city for example would be Makati or Cebu City as they have a population of more than 100,000. The lower the classification, the lower the population.

I just came from watching your video with your dad. It was amazing seeing you and your dad together. After watching this video, I am now aware of the trials and tribulations you experienced while growing up here. The one thing I have learned about you is that you are a fighter, not a quitter. That is one trait that will allow you to eventually succeed in whatever endeavor you choose to pursue. You and Vanessa make an awesome team. I wish you both the very best in your adventure down the river of life. 😀

Thank you, Joe, for sharing how you felt when you were called as a mixed breed of French-Filipino by your classmates/playmates., though your complexion isn't markedly white, but simply fair (not brown) like many Filipinos here in MMla. Thank you for your smiling face - positive and hopeful, which brightens likewise your narrations! We, Zamboangueños, used to have some mestizas/mestizos (American-Filipino, Swiss-Filipino, Spanish-Filipino, German-Filipino, Arabian guys, etc.) females/males who were either enrolled in our one private Catholic schools for girls or for boys (Ateneo de Zamboanga, now a university). The women's features were lovely and the men were charming and of tender nature. The women had all been taken by men from MMla long after the American Liberation. What a wonderful world this would be when the mixed breed will have markedly produced one humanity of love and understanding, peace and harmonious unity! ❤🎉😊🙏🏻🇵🇭🇫🇷

Hello Joey, yes I just watched your interview with your dad a while ago.What an amazing story. In fact, I even subscribed. You're handsome, it looks like you got it from your mother side and some to your father side. I understand what you and your partner have gone through during the pandemics. Just like you we also suffered. All the business in America suffered too. I worked in a big Hotel right across the convention centre in Las Vegas.We got all laid off due to Corona Virus.All the big Convention was canceled.But now it's getting a little better but not as good as before. It's good you choose to live in the Philippines that's what I intend to do in my retirement age. I am a FILAM and lived in California 🇺🇲🇵🇭

Hi Quidiz 🙌🏻❤️ Thank you so much for subscribing 🤗 Wow! I appreciate you sharing that to me. The pandemic was definitely a dark time for all of us and you’re right, things are better now but not as good as how it were back then. Absolutely! The Philippines is a tropical paradise especially to people who are looking for a place to settle in when they retire 🥰❤️ That’s amazing! Do you still speak Filipino? Take care! I wish you good health and the best of life in America! ❤️

Hi Joe and Vanessa! Greetings from California! I recently came across your videos, and have been watching them ever since. It’s great getting to know a bit about you two. I’ll be visiting the Philippines in December. I’ll be the first in my family to return to the Philippines in well over 200 years. I’m super excited to visit where my ancestors came from! As a Filipino-American, it sometimes feels like I’m not American enough or Filipino enough, so being able to step foot on Philippine soil for the first time is extremely rewarding. Hopefully I’ll be embraced! All the best.

We hope you’ll have a grand time here in The Philippines and try to explore as much Islands as you can! Each one is a unique experience ❤️🇵🇭 Take care in California and we wish you all the best! 🙌🏻

I'm sharing my life lessons with u that caused 2 depressions. I left KLCC in 1999 when I was questioning my self motivation. I visited Andalusia Spain in 1996 n I felt in love with Europe, so much love that I wanted an opportunity to work n live in Europe. Leaving KLCC in 1999 has hit me with my first depression. After 4 years without steady income, in 2002, I found my new employer, MIDA, which has overseas centres all around d world n I was aiming for Europe. When my posting came in 2008, I got an offer to Mumbai, n I was threatened by HR, take it or leave it. It was a new center n I thought that d experience will be beneficial for my 2nd posting. D work climate in my new office was very challenging n I made it happen, successfully set up d new office, but my body couldn't sustain all d city pollutions. When I came back to KL in late 2011, I faced another disappointment, d posting for my position was frozen, I felt cheated, waiting so long, n I didn't get anything, n that caused my 2nd depression in 2012, got sick for almost d whole year, n I had to leave my job in early 2013, had to sell my apt in KL. I consider lucky as my late grandma had a house in Kuantan, built my late mom n dad. I was already in my own lockdown since 2012. Sorry for rambling my personal story that has no value to u. C'est la vie. Life has to go on. There were openings in New York, London, Paris, Milan during 2008-2009, but d MIDA management didn't entertain my humble request, n my dream is still a dream.
