Emilie. You are a very compassionate and intelligent young lady. You are also a credit to your parents. I can see you training as a vet when you're older. When you started playing and singing "Imagine", Satang cuddled up to you. That brought a tear to my eye it was so beautiful. I hope Satang makes a full recovery from his injuries and with your gentle care and that of your parents, he has a happy future ahead.

Awww.....this brought tears to my eyes. What a beautiful story and one lucky cat. I love Satang already and I can tell that he loves you. A rescue animal has seen the other side and they know when they have it made :-) I have also always had rescue cats and yes, they LOVE music. One in particular, my Harley, always loved to be next to me when I played and would often try to accompany me and would use his paw to hit a few notes. We made a game of it. I miss him so. He lived to a ripe old age of 18! Thanks for showing the compassion and love for animals. Emilie, you have grown into a fine young lady! Looking forward to updates! What an amazing recovery for Satang so far. The room you painted was beautiful and sure to help Satang feel more like he is outside with flowers and sky and a nice big window he can sit up high to look out of. You even thought of stairs to help him get up to his cozy perch. What thoughtful and tender care you are giving him, He is being so good about the pills, too!

Satang is a very very lucky cat. In developing countries, animals are generally treated cruelly. People in developing countries do not have an awareness for animal rights and welfare. Bravo to Emilie and family for being angels to Satang.
