Out of all of these shows, I think Arthur was by far one of the most educational and meaningful one. I also grew up without cable, And it is so interesting to see my childhood be expressed by famous a KZbinr. But back to Arthur. Arthur, like you said, covered a lot of very deep topic, And I feel that now it is gone, A lot of children won’t be exposed to those topics and early age.

As someone who grew up watching pbs kids, i will say that those shows made learning fun and somehow made more sense than school. For one, i had enough common knowledge of knowing that maple syrup comes from maple trees, but i really enjoyed that one episode from Curious George about the whole process of making maple syrup!

idk why I am ranting about this and do not judge me. I remember this game (keep in mind tiny me had super low standards, which is why blood does not scare me) I remember this game where there were these mini games with danial tiger staring at you with his friend and then one of them is suddenly like: "I GOTTA PEE" and then you tap on them and we see them sitting on a toilet (#Ireggretchildhood) and then we tapped on them just to see what they have to do, they were literally like: okay first you squish these gross blobby things from your a** then you grab toilet paper and stick your hand in the toilet then shift slightly. also I did not do that, all I did was play the minigames. Also there were mini MINI games where you just sat this one tiny character I did not recognize on a changing table and just wait for that guy to crap his diaper until you leave the minigame. weird game. 5 YEAR OLD ME SUCKED

As a kid not only did I not have cable, I didn’t have antenna tv ether. I didn’t even get pbs kids. All I had was a dvd player and Nintendo Wii system for entertainment. Now days my mom has streaming for all of us, but back then if we wanted to watch any shows we had to go to my grandparents. I did know about PBS years later and love pretty much all the shows you mentioned here and more.
