You are a lucky guy. Everything you are doing at your Bonsai is working well. Almost! Thanks for the video. 2 weeks ago a thunderstorm threw all my big bonsais down. 7 of 10 bowls broken, 4 trees with broken tops. But I still will go on! Regards from the south of Germany

Ohw, that is annoying! But realize, things go wrong everywhere all the time too. The longer you are at it, the better yu get at avoiding big problems.

A really enjoyable video to watch Jelle. I have found that if my plastic humidy container is half full of water then it acts in the same way and everything inside roots brilliantly :)

Nice video as always, Jelle. One of the siblings of your BRTs from seed is now in the ground. I can assure you it has already fattened quite a bit, and I guess it will be a fast process for a nice thick bonsai. Good luck with yours!😊

Beautiful trees. But tell me why do you keep them in bonsai pots while they are in development stage?
@GrowingBonsai10 ай бұрын
They are in large pots. And they spent 6 months per year in the living room so it might as well look nice.

Delema solved 🤣 unbelievable this difference in an at first seemingly uninteresting tree 🤓 I would enjoy to visit your garden

Great video Mr jelle! I still got the cutting you Sendt me last year. Brazilian raintree. Have it out in the greenhouse still. When do you recommend I take inside. The cooler weather is coming to Norway this weak. But it stil 10 degrees at night and about 30 to 40 celcius in the greenhouse if the sun shines
@GrowingBonsai10 ай бұрын
I will bring them in this weekend. When the greenhouse drops regularly below 10?
@thenaturecreater890610 ай бұрын
@GrowingBonsai i took them in a month ago. We hit minus 6 Celsius. They really took off when I took them inside! I have 3 cuttings on the go from it. Thanks again jelle!

Thanks for the video, very to helpful. I live in there UK and have not been able to find any place that sells seeds or cuttings of Brazilian rain tree. Can I please buy some cuttings from you?
@GrowingBonsai10 ай бұрын
I am afraid that shipping plants to the UK requires all sorts of permits which I cannot provide / have
@bharatraj891510 ай бұрын
Did not think of that. Thanks for considering.

I am not comepltely sure, but I think winter 2018/2019 when I planted the seeds, which would make them 4 years

It is a bit tricky to get them to the UK. I am not able to organize the paperwork for it.

Looks like a mimosa in US.
@GrowingBonsai11 ай бұрын
mimosa looks similar, but is quite a distant species. Both belong to the fabacea plant family.
