My family does the seven fishes every year a tradition I hold dear to my heart. Christmas Eve at our house and Christmas Day a polenta table on my Nona’s keeping tradition alive is major. I agree with that. My nona never taught us Italian mainly because she didn’t want us to know what she was saying when we’re kids 😂😂😂 but always emphasized tradition and culture. Something so small as hanging the Italian long hotts by the a string in the window. ❤️🇮🇹

Love the espresso time episodes! Gotta say I think De Niro is equal to Pesci and Pacino. Its just insane what he can do with a character; taxi driver, deer hunter, cape fear, goodfellas, casino, a Bronx tale, analyze this ect. Of course it’s insane what Pesci and Pacino can do with a character as well. All three are some of the best actors of all time. Keep up the good work guys! Loving these podcasts

I think you are a little wrong on Canadian Italians. The eh is a Canadian thing, and we simply say he's a cake not mangia cake and we do know where the term is derived from. At the end of the day,all of us who carry the culture are doing our job. Cheers, you guys are the best.
