Growling Sidewinder Server But Guns Only! Everyone else has missiles! DCS

The Growling Sidewinder Open Conflict server has nothing but jets carrying long range air to air missiles... Can I get a gun kill when everyone else can hit me from 40 miles away!?
I mainly do BFM or dog fighting when I play DCS. Today I wanted to see if I could score a gun kill on someone carrying long range missiles for a change of pace. It was not easy with many failed attempts but I edited this 17 minute clip down to 2 minutes so people could see that it is indeed possible and actually rather attainable. It makes the experience a lot higher stakes as once you commit there is no going back, you can't just lob 2 aim-120's from 30 miles away and turn cold hoping they deter your opponent. You have to be able to defend missiles well and know when people will engage and take the bait when you are in an advantageous position.
This footage was recorded mostly in VR using a Quest 3 and a 4090.

@@Tabs_Original i mean now it's no longer necessary since recently i got an x52 PRO but back then i spent a good 30 minutes just driving around the ground with my Su-25 since i couldn't figure out how to take off with keyboard and mouse...

how you put up datlink on lower screen and on helmet?

Select 'SA' on the lower screen after pressing menu. Helmet settings are in the hmd menu on the left hand hand side of an mfd after pressing menu a few times. i can't remember exactly i would watch a tutorial on hornet set up for way better info. It is basically just muscle memory for me and hard to explain lol.
