I took the plunge and jumped into DCS. The 50% applies to select modules, and then GS's codes will apply an extra 10% of one of them. I picked up F/A-18c, F5e, Supercarrier, and FC3. After doing a few touch-and-goes and a carrier landing in the Hornet, I feel like I should have bought more of them, lol. Now time to order HOTAS and rudder pedals. I'm hooked. 😂

@@Nr15121 I think it's more the similarities between modern torpedoes and missiles. So both fights end up being this cat and mouse fight of launching the weapons and maneuvering and launching countermeasures to avoid their weapons in return.

Tactically what are your thoughts on two things? 1. Use buildings to break track then push into merge. 2. He doesn’t know your down an AMRAAM. Push to the MAR then defend to force him to commit his last FOX3. Then your in same weapons state and can get a “fair” fight.

I know how many people love the Hornet for all it's complexity, twin engines, high alpha capability and so on. And I used to really prefer the (legacy) Hornet over the F-16 when I was a kid (back in the 80's where the F-14 ruled supreme). The older I get, the more I love the Viper over anything else. It's not rational, so don't attempt to argue with me 😂 By the way, keep up those hard cuts! Love 'em.
