On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. It definitely takes time, but what I can recommend you is to learn how to fly first with the free P-51 Trainer. That teaches you the very fundamentals of flying and is simple to get started since there is almost no tech (screens, radar, guided missiles, ...) involved. Then go to early jets like the F86F, which still aren't packed full of computers and only have rudimentary radar capabilities. Then you can go to the more modern jets and learn "the rest"™.

Usually you make it challenging by creating a match-up that has you as the under-dog, but I suppose with so many new members you gotta go back to basics and show them why there are not too many aircraft that survive a dogfight with the Viper. (...and you make it look SOOOO easy!😄)

I have to say it's the Viggen, that is a real beauty whom was feared all over Europe. And it is also the only jet ever to achieve a radar lock on an SR-71 Blackbird (excluding the time where a blackbird had engine malfunction)

well, you can't really regain speed while jinking, those maneuvers are so aggressive you're going to be losing a lot of speed trying to execute them, once the bandit has your six and is in your control zone...you're basically a dead man but the only thing left for you to do is get him away from that position, of course first JINK to defeat his gun shot then you need to start pulling hard building aspect bleeding speed and nose countering, if you do these things correctly.......you might get lucky and get an overshoot.

Jesus' stinky left testicle!!! It seems like it was just a few weeks ago that GS was celebrating the 300,000 subscriber milestone. Well, that's come and gone, along with the 400,000 subs milestone and now the half-million subscriber milestone is within view. It's almost within weapons range and Launch Authorisation will be coming shortly... When that happy day comes, I really hope we all get to see something special. Something like the P-51 Mustang dogfighting the Vought F-4U Corsair!! I mean, one of them was an iconic WWII fighter and it was the best American aircraft of the war. The other one was even better!!! There was only ever ONE time those two TITANS ever fought each other; In South America, back in the early 60s, the Corsair managed to defeat the Mustang rather soundly, as well as a few other aircraft. Well, I'd like to see how that combat might change if both pilots were actually competent!! No offence to the mighty airforce pilots of 3rd-world nations, but they had VERY little experience in terms of flight hours and even less training, so their technical competence can't match that of someone who knows what all the buttons and toggles in the cockpit are for... Also worthy of mention is that both the Corsair AND the Mustang were STILL being flown by the U.S. military during the Vietnam War!!! By that stage, these two were subsonic prop. aircraft with VERY limited utility. They had no on-board radar, no RWR, they weren't jets and their ordinance carrying capacity was limited. Yet there was something about them, about their triumph of form and function, that kept them worthy of being used as weapons of war, some 20 to 30 years after their first flight!!! That's pretty freakin' awesome!! If GS ever reads this comment, I sincerely hope he will find a way to deliver this gladiatorial combat for our entertainment. Cheers, mate!!! I think this time GS has got his match!! At least fighting stylewise!! more videos should be made against this opponent with other aircrafts!!!
