Got a HUGE Behind Enemy Lines vibe from the opening seeing the Super Hornet, the trees, ....LOL That shot of the SuperHornet landed with the sun behind it, chef's kiss GS is the ULTIMATE low altitude flyer- is he flying or podracing lol? The Super Hornet is a great fighter bomber. It's like an A-7 with a pointy nose. I think it falls down as an air superiority fighter though. I think the outcome would've been different had the opposition been SU-35s. I know this is kicking a dead horse, but modernized A-7 s escorted by F-14s would be a more effective option. Great video! If the 2nd MiG was at 14 miles and GS had gone feet wet and he can see the Carrier (It will be in a Group), the Group is far too close to the coast/enemy. Normally not closer than 200/250 miles. If he can see the Group they began firing too late.

Instead, you launched multiple times close to gimbal limits and survived AND, survived in a "slow as molasses on a cold winter day" Super Hornet. All you got out of that thing - MAX AB on the deck - is 613 knots??? Holy... How Thunder Bay terrible is that?!
