This feels like it was setup for failure from the start. 1. Mike doesn't seem like the kind of person that is receptive to change. He likes what he likes and that is it. 2. i feel like mike is going into this with the "i'm not gonna like any of this" mindset because it feels like he's just hating it to say he doesn't like it, as is commonplace with picky eaters. "i don't like that, i know i don't like that. you're making me eat that so i don't like it." looool. but also freezer dinners are not the way to make a picky eater enjoy a certain type of food. lol. they really set mike up for "failure" here by not giving him ACTUALLY good food cooked with mushrooms and shrimp.

Has Mike ever given more details about his previous "food industry" work experience? Because it is absolutely baffling to me that he has this unique palet and lack of eating soooo many other foods. I worked as a fish monger for a year and tried things I would never have before. It opened up my world to new flavors and textures.

Fantastic content. Roger did great as a host. Nick and Joey for color commentary, excellent. Mike's utterly baffling palate and mysterious food history are a gold mine. But for Pete's sake, you need to nail the logistics to deliver quality food. Lukewarm cocktail shrimp from a grocery store? Frozen fried rice and risotto? Raw mushrooms? Sounds like a list of food you'd find in a dumpster, mostly uneaten. Even bugs and rats would have a hard time liking this stuff. Speaking of rats - Nick's Ratatouille-like description of supreme pizza was 🔥. Can't wait for more of Kinda Munchies.
