I saved packs for over 4 years until I got 1036, every battle pass, every treasure pack reward track, every event possible spending as little as possible all to get 2 heirlooms once the game is past its peak and in decline with a horrible weapon meta and sbmm.

I saved up like 300 packs thinking you can't get another until you spend the first and now I have 450 shards after opening them and getting lucky once I learned the counter doesn't freeze ( /500 opening)

@bw7228 Once you obtain Heirloom shards people assume if you open more packs after without spending the shards the /500 counter doesn't start, But it does infact reset back to 0/500 once you get shards and you can keep opening packs without spending the shards to get another drop, I got my second pair of shards after 230 packs even tho I never used them up yet ( saving them both on bloodhound recolor and karambit now )

If you open 499 packs there is about 20% you have gotten shards. (1 - 0,99955%)^499 = 20% ish Aim for the 500 packs boys! Or an event
