Post a video of final setup. Im installing the same, from the same place, on the same bike soon. D3 with the same color and EZCan too. But, I have Outback Motertek crash bars and will figure out where and how to the mount them. I'll get the Amazon mounts however after your video... I might get the B6 light too. Love to see yours on final vid too.

@@kee7678 The next video on these lights would be on the beam patterns, lens changing and final aiming, not much more on setup. This is it for setup I think. Thanks for the comment.

Hello Grumpy! I only recently joint your channel and indeed enjoy your videos very much! Two questions in mind: 1) Why, for your Tiger, you chose EzCan over Denali's own product (albeit the two are essentially the same product)??? 2) Now that you installed the EzCan, are you still using the Healtech module for anything? If not, will you be removing it from your Tiger ??? Thanks much!!!!

@@yl4970 Thanks for subscribing. To answer your questions: 1. Price. I got the bundle from A Bike Thing in the UK for cheaper than the same bundle with the CANSmart controller here in the US. 2. The Healtech module is still used to power the GPS and any other peripheral I might decide to install in the future, so I would not be removing it. Best to have more outlets than I need.

Okay Grumpy, understood and thanks much for responding. I recently got myself a 2020 RS with less than 10K miles. Thinking to either install the Healtech or EzCan for controlling front and rear lights. Trying to decide which of the two or perhaps as you indicated both....

@@yl4970 The Healtech Thunderbox simply provides power and you’d need a switch to turn the lights on. The ezCAN controller provides power as well as other functionality all through the existing switches. I have the CANSmart controller on my RS and have no need for a Healtech Thunderbox on that bike.

@@GrumpyGoat Yep, got it!! BTW, I think the EZCan cost less than the Denali's Can-Smart since it (EZCan) does not come with those extra-long cables! Is that correct? Meaning, by the time you add the cables both products end costing just about the same...Again, thanks much!!

​@@yl4970 Actually the A Bike Thing bundle with the included cable harness was cheaper than the CANSmart plus lights regardless of whether the cables were actually pre-attached to the CANSmart. And it got to my hand just as fast.

Hi Grumpy I have installed the Denali cansmart and find it drain s my battery if I haven’t used the bike for a couple of days would be interested if you could test the unit with a meter to see if it does the same cheers

Hi David - does the same what? Did you test yours with a meter and have some results for me to compare mine to? Mine does not drain the battery in a couple of days. It is supposed to time out after a short while and should not draw any current; the LED should go out.🤔
