There is an afterlife. I know because it has been revealed to me in Jesus Christ. I humbly ask that you seek him and he will reveal himself to you. We have all done wrong in our lives and have fallen short of God's perfect standard of righteousness. But he came to the earth as a man in Christ and suffered a painful death to redeem us back to himself. You and I broke God's law, and Jesus paid our fine. Thats why his last words on the cross were "it is finished" it's because the debt had been paid for all mankinds' sin, and all we must do is forsake our sins, and turn away from sin toward our suffering Savior, Christ. He then gifts us with a new heart that loves goodness, I've seen him do this in my life. It's truly supernatural, if you humbly ask to know Christ and read the new testament gospels, he will truly show you who he is. Thank you and God bless you!

@@gwill3019 It seemed that all the changes that took place with the Stooges involved the third Stooge. First, Shemp leaves the act because he was tired of Ted Healy's drinking heavily, and the poor way he treated the Stooges. Second, Curly was hired to replace him, and made 97 shorts before suffering the stroke that ended his career. Third, Shemp returned and stayed with the act until the day he died in 1955. They all had a difficult history and they were great, but I have an admiration for Shemp Howard because he was one of the original Stooge, then went on to a successful solo career and then had to leave and come back to The Three Stooges because Curly got sick and also to help Moe and Larry so that these two wouldn't be unemployed and the series ended.
@Lord_KillerBee2 жыл бұрын
Shemp did agree to fill in for Curly until he was able to return, but that sadly never happened. Also, after Shemp died, moe and Larry thought of making it with just them but had Joe Besser join them as the third member of the act. But it didn't last that long and then the second Joe aka curly Joe came along and the rest was history.

Shemp wasn't JUST an original stooge with Ted Healy...He was the HEAD stooge, beating up on his little brother Moe and Larry...But after Shemp left Ted Healy's act, Moe took over as head Stooge in the Columbia shorts...so when Curly had to retire and Shemp came in to substitute, for continuity's sake, Moe had to continue as Head Stooge and beat up on his older brother Shemp as if Shemp hadn't earned his stripes...That's what family does for one another...at least, back then...

Funniest and best act; I loved them when I was little. Such such hard lives; shame in those who cheated them. 😞

The fist time I watched the stooges I was little and horribly sick with the flu. My dad came home from work and said he had a surprise and wouldn't tell me what it was. He pulled a DVD case out of a Walmart bag and put it into the player and told be to watch it because it would make me feel better. Gotta say, still the hardest I have ever laughed in my life. Kept replaying it over and over again.

I'll never forget, i was about 8 years old. I got a few 3 stooges videos for Christmas. I can still vaguely remember the whole family sitting around on Christmas eve night 1984 laughing until our stomachs hurt. There was something so special about that night. I wish I could have froze time. Anyway bc of that night, I've been a stooge fan for life.

I had the extreme privilege and honor to have met Moe and Larry when I was a kid, I had a picture of them and myself which was lost in an apartment fire. I grew up watching the Stooges, I still love watching their shorts and still laugh until my sides ache.

I'm 18 now, but i remember going to the library as a kid and picking up the three stooges dvds and bingeing them with my brother. I was always curious and sad about the fact that curly got swapped out without any warning. My habit once got so bad that I convinced my mom I was sick one day, and I stayed home watching the three stooges. The series was an unforgettable part of my childhood

I remember as a kid growing up in Australia watching them at 5:30 am every morning..... in one episode they played carpenters who were mistaken for couture designers. Their fashion show was inspired by the Dali paintings of dresses with draws built into them and fabric draped from them... I think Dali designed the costumes.... but I'd need someone to verify that .....

I wish these Grunge people would stop putting the word "tragedy" in every video they make. There's more adjectives than "tragic". What don't they understand about that concept?? How about "The interesting life of...", or "The ups and downs of...". It just never ends with these Grunge people.
@robertcuratolo53394 жыл бұрын
Yeah you right they can't find nothing original so they pick on the "Stooges".

I guess that "tragic" is a better buzzword than "the interesting life of". Because people seem to be drawn to sad tales rather than informing ones, unfortunately.
@rh54664 жыл бұрын
@@anthonydesroches785 I don't know that that's so, but maybe it is. If it is true, maybe people just like tragic stories. But most of these bios don't fit the conventional definition of tragedy anyways: "Causing or characterized by extreme distress or sorrow.". There was some mishap and misfortune in the Stooges personal lives, but clearly it was balanced with good fortune and good life too.

I'm getting up there in years, and still love to watch the humor of the 'Three Stooges' the humor is not only timeless but, depending upon how you understand it, it can be taken down to four layers. They were funny, and anything but dumb - their timing and acting was impeccable! Also it gives you a great view of what things you saw back then. The street lamps were beautifully made and the shops had elegant touches. The furniture and houses were fantastically sculpted. You saw how people dressed and acted towards each other back then. And the vernacular along with phrasing was a bit different and interesting to hear. Definitely a trip back in time!

Same here. Growing up in the 70's there were plenty of black and white shows still on. Mostly syndicated I think and those actors were still around. That's the way you think when you're a kid, there all here. It's a bummer looking back now but at the time for me the Stooges could not have been more alive!

True pioneers of slapstick and sadly under current climates would never even been given a chance. Sad to hear the boys seemed to struggle off-camera more than the antics they portrayed on camera. Grew up to their craziness and though didn't get it much at the time (as i was bullied and didn't see the funny in it) later came to appreciate their talent!

Began watching the stooges in 1958 I believe. They came to TV and our local station aired them timely just after school hours--3 shorts in one hour. Still watching them and the humor never gets old for me. Moe broke 3 ribs just after saying "Give it to me!" to Larry and Curly.
