Great video, and you did it, yay! Congratulations on your longest ride. Looks like an absolute belter! Also, nice to see Suvi making another appearance on the channel a few videos back 😊 Still to crack 200km on the gravel bike after bailing on the soggy Reiver this year 😬

Thanks Charlie, super happy to have finished this one! You’ll get there soon I’m sure, from what I’ve heard, bailing on Dirty Reiver was a great shout 😂

@grantritchie yeah, I've seen it. Just meant what was the width and tread pattern... sorry, I wasn't clear.. it's difficult to know. I'm booked for the Salisbury Glorious Gravel this month which covers some of that course apparently.. 👍

What bike did you do the ride on....road or gravel bike
@grantritchie Жыл бұрын
Gravel bike (definitely needed a gravel bike!)

@@grantritchie I'm looking at getting either a gravel bike or a touring bike to go along with my recumbent trike. Looking at the Surly bikes....a Bridge club, Ogre or Disk Trucker. I like the Ogre and the Ghost Grappler as they both have a horizontal drop out which allows me to upgrade to a Rohloff hub in the future and a carbon belt instead of chain for a more bombproof drive train.

A lot of this is unknown territory for me, I’m not super familiar with those bikes. I’ve come from the road side and so the more road-orientated gravel bikes are more my comfort zone like the Topstone, diverge, grizl or revolt.
