Hi Patti:). I thought both looked equally the same:) Really makes me wonder about makeup-confusing and I still don’t understand when I’m supposed to apply the sunscreen?? There is so much controversy about what sunscreens to use too-idk-seems like zinc oxide is the safest but I can’t imagine putting makeup on over that? Do you have any suggestions? I have a MAC foundation that really gives nice coverage and it doesn’t even feel like I have anything on but I don’t wear makeup everyday. After all this time watching you I finally tried Makeup Geek matte shadows and I actually succeeded in a nice look and they didn’t make my eyes burn but I’ve tried all kinds of mascara and immediately my eyes burn-does anyone have a suggestion for a good mascara? Be careful with Dollar General Store makeup. I had read online that their off brands are believed to have toxic ingredients ( example: lower levels of lead ), especially the eye shadows/lipsticks. Of course, I'm sure high end isn't quite pure.

Believe Beauty has been out about 2-3 years now, I think. And their Foundation is one of my holy grails. The primers & the powder is alright too. They have a cream blush that's good too, I only have one color but I would like to pick up more colors.

I love the Believe Foundation! I used Clinique or Ester Lauder for years but it stopped doing it for me as I aged. Believe gives just enough coverage but looks moist and I put it on with a damp makeup sponge. Pro tip: I lay a tissue on my face and gently blot once to keep it from being too glowy. Then I don’t have to powder-which is a good way to avoid line settling. I also love the Kosas concealer for under my eyes. I skip primer because I’ve never found one that suits me.; they all settle in my lines. Finally, Allie Glines raves about Believe.

I'm a disabled,senior on a very tight fixed income.I've mainly used drug store make-up over the yrs..The Dollar Tree beauty items.I like their cosmetics,still pretty cool with many name brands i used to love. Nice! Well,some yrs ago i discovered HSN home shopping channel! I tried the Bare Mineral foundation. Lovely!! I felt so special - trying this as a treat for turning 60! i got acouple Fancy Lancome anti-aging,Toning skin care line. @$200 for all,+ i used the Flex-pay option.Cool,right? But the Best Item with the Toners+wrinkle lifters....didnt work Any better than the Oil of Olay basic skin care lotion...ugh i was so bummed! That fancy twister bottle Stopped turning @ 1/2 way through the bottle! $125 for that was a waste.I called Lancome. I'm French so i thought the call would be smooth,easy.Nope,no way. I could not get past the Recept to speak with Cust.Service! I tried many times over a few mos time..She was Rude,condiscending.I Couldnt get a replacement or refund tho i did have my original receipt.(I save all receipts out of habit.I wont buy anything else from a company that is rude when i can go Around the Corner + purchase something from a Friendly place!) idk Ladies,i feel when we reach a certain age,raised our families +then some... Helped our Community also- We deserve Some Respect! I Give respect/,kindness+ I expect it in Return. Oh the sunscreen.I think it should Always go on before foundation.If you use primer first,sunscreen should be next.Then Contour (if you use it),then Foundation,blush ,highlighter +Viola! I love Believe make-up and heard about it from Emily - she's so genuine and honest! I have many palettes, but the Plush Purples eyeshadow is my daily choice! I'm 57 and I also use the eyeliner, foundation, bronzer, cream blush, sponge and brushes from this line. They are amazing! I'm not an expert on skincare, but I've actually researched about the suncreen- primer order. It supposedly depends on whether you wear mineral or chemical sunscreen as to the order. If you wear chemical, the primer goes on top. If you wear mineral, the sunscreen goes on last as it lays on the skin for sun protection. This is the consensus from all that I researched. I really enjoy your videos and think you are a sweet, genuine, beautiful person ❤ Bless you.

I'm 63, I use the hydrating primer,foundation, cream blush in dollface, brown retractable eyeliner, and the eyeshadow primer. My store was out of the powder bronzer have heard they blend beautifully and like you I need to take it down my neck. Bought only one product. All are sold out. I did buy Believe perfect glow highlighting stick and rose glow. Love it. I outlined mine lips with a little burgundy highlighter. I smeared it or smudged it and then I applied some of the believe highlighting stick. I used it as a lipstick and my husband said I really like it! I love it. I bought the only tube and will be looking for another tube or 2!!!! I found a cute no, gorgeous flower vase on the card display Aisle. I dropped it on my foot as I was checking out and I thought that it had cut through my shoe. I use blood thinners and it really hurt! I came home and you did mine make up offer with the highlighter. It is so beautiful specially with my tanning lotion put on at night. It makes my tan looks so good. I used it for highlighter on my cheeks as well. Thank you for turning me on to Believe. Lucky for me, even though there was only one product, it was the very best one. I had to put ice on my foot for the afternoon, but thankfully I’m not limping. Thanks Patty, I love your videos.

HI Beautiful Lady, I Am a retired Master Esthetician/ Educator. YOUR Sunscreen definitely should be applied after all you skincare products have had an opportunity to gently melt/ be absorbed into your skin..THEN APPLY IR 1/4 TEASPOON of Preferably physical sunscreen with an SPF of at least 40 or better( a chemical will do fine if that's ur preference) again, let ur sunscreen melt in give it a good 10 min and Then go ahead and apply ur PRIMER OR Foundation. Your Sunscreen is a part of your skincare not your makeup application. Even if you are using a tinted sunscreen it should be applied b4 primer...or you may just want to use it as all the coverage u desire ! Hope this answers your question, also you never want to mix any products into your sunscreen,its a stand alone warrior, Ur skincares, anti oxidants VitC Niacinimide, Peptides, are all the Hyaluronic Acid, are all the soldiers working and fighting together right behind their Warrior Leader "Sunscreen "💖

I like to wear a hat with a wide brim. Sometimes I use an umbrella; it depends on how hot it is. The umbrella keeps the sun off very well. I use a moisturizer with sunscreen also. When it is over 90 degrees I like to use the umbrella. Love your videos, Patti.

I have tried the Believe brand and I loved it! Patti, your camera is focused on your background and not on you. Your face looks a little blurry to me anyway. Then again it may be my old eyes. Lol

I’m 59 and bought the Believe foundation and am pleasantly surprised! I love for the money! Good coverage and once I set it I’d say it lasted a good 8-9 hours on my normal / oily skin! Love you as usual

I have never tried Believe make-up products but will try. I don't see any difference in the two products. I enjoy your videos. I don't wear hi end make-up except when I get it as a gift from my daughter. Thank you for sharing. You are a beautiful lady inside & out.

Thank you for posting this video! It is very informative and encouraging. I have two of the concealers(ivory and fawn), eye shadow (same as yours), eye liner (Queen Mauve), skin illuminator (Forbidden) and the highlight and contour palette (light/medium). I thoroughly enjoy their products. The concealer is as good as any I have used. I like the color of the eyeliner as I have green eyes and the mauve brings them out. The only complaint i have is i wish they offered more maybes and reddish tones for a blush. I dont do well with orange/peach blushes as they make me look clownish. At 50 with my skin I should have known better to try an illuminator...i wanted a youthful glow but it just highlights my wrinkles. If I were young I would use it though. The mascara you used is very impressive. I am a Loreal Voluminous mascara girl but will be trying Believe next. I have never used a setting spray or their eyebrow pencils so will try those too. Thanks again!
