I absolutely get you when it comes to taking your husbands last name. I changed mine and put my last name into my middle name because you’re right it’s part of our family and why should we just throw it away! So happy for you! 😊😊

My mom hyphenated but her maiden name was short i wont hyphenate because my last name is too long but this might be cheesey my initials are AMC if I meet a man and his last name starts with C then I will change my last name. That way I still keep my initials of AMC which I absolutely love 4:45

A lot of people’s weddings really end up being for the parents/family. And if the parents are paying for it, which many do, then they feel that they have more say in choices made. Not saying it’s right, but that’s what happens!
