The reality is someone will have already drilled 5 different holes at all different angles and heights and half the joists will have been hacked out by the plumber running the heating and water pipes😂😂😂

I know, right! Once on site, I drilled the holes to lay the cables and came to the site a couple of days later to find out the plumber had laid his flexi poly pipes through the holes I drilled.

If this is such an issue. Why aren't the build specs asking for extra joists every other one if they know holes be drilled for electrical cables. Bad design from start

Rewires on old house , often on new builds the customer, decides, during the build. , and changes and updates to the electrical installation after the house is built, plus new tenants like changes .
