I just bought one, tried it and made a huge mess 😢. The directions say use 2-5 tablespoons of coffee, I used probably 3 (I'm on the trail so no precision). I couldn't get the press to go all the way down, if it doesn't seat properly and you try to drink from it....well, you'll wear most of it 😮. I'll try it again and if it doesn't work, back it will go. What I did purchase and really like is the GSI ultra light drip filter, I also use a paper filter and that makes a perfect, smooth cup of coffee 😄 Thanks for the review, I was looking for someone who reviewed it .. thanks again

I've become a big fan of my Stanley stainless steel French press. No need for an extra pot to boil the water!

You should def decant the coffee from the press before you drink it. If you leave the grounds in the press while you drink, it continues to brew and can become bitter. Cheers. Great review.
