Your videos absolutely correct, but here i facing some issues, my communcation between sim800l is not working properly with dc to dc buck converter because of Ampere matters. so i suggest to use 4v more than 2ah power supply to work well. Thanks

Dear Ahmad, Thanks for the very helpful video. I have a few sim800L GSM modules (3.3V and 5V) which I was trying to sort out for a wireless alarm notification. I did have a GSM wireless chinese alarm with a dodgy battery. It also stopped showing a GSM/wifi connection. I now think this is all due to a requirement for a battery due to the 2A burts. Despite what some videos show the 5V does not connect and reboots even if attached to a 5V USB power adapter attached to the arduino, or PC. I am now thinking that maybe the issue for all mobile phones, sat nav etc. needing a battery may be this 2A burst for the GSM modem. Do you think this correct? In relation to this, can any ordinary lithium 18650 battery be attached. I note that there is circuitry often attached to the lipo batteries. Can 18650 batteries be used without this circuitry to get phones etc to work of the mains usb adapter?

Good job brother, I am working on a project to track vehicles using GSM, GPS and Arduino Micro....but I have a problem is that the serial data is not displayed on the GSM and it does not send data, even though the GSM is connected to a network. ..please answer

then you need to test your serial connections of sim800l with the arduino. also verify the pins assign for RX and TX in the code. also check the baudrate in the serial monitor,

Nice project sir how to use sim800l module without saving number in code after insrting sim it should detect number from the sim and start working or make tutorial on save mobile number on insrted sim in eprom memory or esp32

the phone number we save in the code is not the phone number of sim800l gsm module. it is your personal phone number that you have to enter in the code.
