mm&b is one of the most aesthetically impressive games on the snes for me, from the animations to the music. it's so good. also, i really appreciate the effort you made into blending all the songs together including changing the key (without it sounding like it was done by an automatic tool)

I love how each song of this mix is either pitched up or down to blend so well into the next track. Not only does it give a new spin on what are familiar tracks for a lot of us, but it also blends the mix with a serene grace that you don't really see with any other producer on KZbin. Thank you for what you do and never stop!

I just went through the entire playlist. Thank you for your music curation!

Always look forward to and enjoy your content. This is mixed superbly, with a topic near and dear to my heart! Such a good choice to include Forest Interlude from DKC2 as well. One of the best tracks from any Donkey Kong game imo.

I love how you always theme the patreon high rollers in a game's style.. such careful attention to detail and always looks spot on

The 'Mysterious' tune reminds me of a production music track: 'Monica Beale - Basic Form'. It's on youtube around the 12 min mark.

I'd argue that one's a bit more structured, but wow that's a cool comparison!

@@GSTChannelVEVO There is a unexplored rabbit hole of production music and its influence on vgm. You will fall from your chair if you listen to Bruton Music - Watercolours (1986 - BRD28) second track 'Clearwater'

What about the name of the last track during the Patreon bit?
@GSTChannelVEVO2 жыл бұрын
that'd be a thing I tossed together specifically for the patreon bit. I wouldn't call it a "track" as much as a "cue" perhaps?

I adore these, this one is what I really needed atm. any chance you can arrange an arcade-only mix?
@GSTChannelVEVO2 жыл бұрын
"arcade" is a weird and malleable beast. I'm not sure how to tackle it, so I'm kicking that can down the road whenever I see it, for now.

Is 1997 correct though? I thought MM and Bass came out in 1998!

d'oh, you're right. how embarrassing in contrast with my confident assurance that the date is correct, lol everything else still stands, at least

@@GSTChannelVEVO Well, 1998 is even later so the point still stands!

@@GSTChannelVEVO hm okay, it's literally no use on doing console war that aged 30 years ago. Both consoles are equal to me and I'll always make tunes that pushes both to their limits
