Like your vids....straight up & down to earth with great ideas (no dealer BS). Both me (56) & my riden buddy (60), yes two old farts, have these bikes now. We've come full circle, from my 1983 GS1100E & his 1982 Kantana with many, many bikes in between. The GSX-S 1000 very close to the all time top ever!!!! Cheers from Cape Breton, Canada, home to the Cabot Trail (you & your buds would go "bonkers" on that ride)! lol

Highly underrated is a fact. I have a brand new 2019 Z version, paid 7200+ fees last year, and love the shit out of it.. having that k5 in it makes it a living legend

You are 1000% right bout this bike.. i nvr knew they existed till my uncle bought one.. and im a bike guy.. but Suzuki seems as tho they dont care bout Motorcycle sales bc they dont market well nor do they even try to compete. Back in 90’s and early 2000’s Gixxers and SRADs were the bikes to have.. now its like every manufacturer stepped up and Suzuki stuck in times!! If they put they mind to it and put all these electronics and upgrade suspension and just overall performance believe me they’ll make a comeback bc real riders know bout suzuki

i dont know if you already bought that rear shock already but maybe you might like a wp rear shock. im just thinking you might like a premium street shock (vs ohlins) because it will be more than what you have rn without ruining your enjoyment riding public streets

Congratulations on your purchase of the GSXS1000. The windscreen was actually given to me by Suzuki. You’re going to have to search to find it but I’m sure they’re out there good luck.

Hey! awesome setup, i have the 2016 - same color. good choice on the Toby damper. best thing I've done to the bike so far. Was wondering where you found the wind screen you have on yours. I have seen a few out there but every time i see this one I love it. Just Cant find it. Also Power command or ECU flash for that full system. Im going to do M4's full system and have it tuned locally by one of the local race bike builders, he has a very very good reputation around florida and ive talked to him a bit about what i wanted to do. both ecu and power command will essentially get the same job done. Wondering which you decided to go with though.

Loving the color and the update. Planning on swapping the brake lines and pads soon too along with the front master cylinder and gearing eventually. Were the lines and pads a straightforward swap?

It’s not the easiest install but it’s not hard either, I think just about anybody can do it that ‘s mechanically inclined.

Did you disable your ABS in the back but kept it in the front with the new brake lines? What type of brake pads did you get for the front and what brand? Looks great with Yoshi R11! I own GSXS750, did a lot of the same updates as you did for your bike. ECU flash, translogic QS, Yoshi Alpha T, engine case covers, small wind screen, etc. I really love it, great road and track!

A cheap upgrade for the shock is to change the spring
