That is the point of show, nobody would build them like that. No matter how strong anything longitudinally span suspended will behave like a catenary at some point. Is not bad at all for an aluminum truss. More details would be useful like load to failure and carrying capacity (weight of some guy walking on top on a deck for example) Former lighting rigger here...
