You are geared way too high. The blower is working alot faster than it was intended to. You need a smaller pulley on the clutch end and a larger pulley on the u-joint end.

Bogs down really easily…. Maybe you need to adjust pulley size to get the auger to spin up

ya you still have problems iv got a sears twice size blower and i can rip through hard pack ice and shoot it like fresh snow

Engine governor is disconnected or not , seems non-existent .

You're also geared to high...it looks like a 2 stage blower the big auger shouldn't be spinning that fast .... much smaller drive pulley and maybe a bigger driven pull will fix the stalling out problem.... a wall behind blow has a small driving a big that might be the ratio you need... I think that your setup should have gone through that snow no problem if you change the ratios
